About this Retreat
Tamara – Holistic Guide, Space Holder & Founder of Mother’s House
Tamara’s journey into healing began as a nurse, where she discovered that deep compassion was just as vital to recovery as medical treatment. This realization led her to explore holistic approaches to well-being, becoming a breathworker, bodyworker, Reiki practitioner, and musician. Her work is rooted in the philosophy that true healing happens when the body, mind, and spirit are in harmony.
As the co-founder and manager of Mother’s House, a sanctuary for transformation, she facilitates psychedelic retreats, spaceholder courses, and community gatherings, helping people rediscover their authentic selves. Her mission extends beyond individual healing—she is actively involved in harm reduction and ethical psychedelic practices, working closely with ICEERS and organizing workshops to ensure safety and integrity in this field.
Tamara has trained with indigenous wisdom keepers, including a Mestizo Maestro and currently studies under a Shipibo Maestro from Peru, deepening her understanding of plant medicine. Her approach bridges the gap between traditional shamanic knowledge and modern therapeutic frameworks, ensuring that people who work with psychedelics receive safe, grounded, and intuitive guidance.
She also collaborates with Beckley Retreats, where she integrates music and various somatic and energetic practices to enhance ceremony experiences. Through her work, she empowers others to hold space with integrity, supporting both personal and collective healing.
Tamara has witnessed the profound healing potential of psychedelics—helping individuals navigate trauma, reconnect with their emotions, and step into their truth. She is deeply committed to fostering a loving, non-judgmental space where people can explore their inner world safely.
For her, this is not just work—it is a way of life. She believes in the power of collective consciousness and in guiding others toward empowerment, self-awareness, and deep transformation. Through retreats, spaceholder training, and her role in community building, she continues to raise the frequency of those around her, one soul at a time.
Details of this retreat
For a decade, The Medicine Tribe has guided seekers, leaders, and healers through profound journeys of healing, clarity, and renewal. Rooted in ancient wisdom and refined with modern care, we create spaces where transformation feels safe, intentional, and lasting.
At The Medicine Tribe, everything begins with authentic presence—from the way we hold space, to the way we connect with you as an individual. Our experienced team of facilitators bridge modern therapeutic training with the teachings of our indigenous Maestros from the Shipibo and Meztizo traditions of the Amazon.
Our retreats are held within a strong, heart-led therapeutic container that blends ancient wisdom with modern, evidence-based practices, including:
- Internal Family Systems (IFS)
- Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT)
- Hypnotherapy & Meditation
- Conscious Connected Breathwork
Samhain, the Celtic New Year, was a sacred time to pause, reflect, and honor those who came before us. Families set places at the table for their departed, lit candles in their memory, and gathered in silence to listen for their wisdom. It was believed that, as the veil between worlds thinned, the voices of ancestors could be heard more clearly—guiding, protecting, and reminding us of our place in the great cycle of life.
This Samhain, we invite you into that lineage of remembrance. Over three days, in the safety of a held container, our psilocybin retreat offers a space to:
- Connect with ancestral wisdom and receive guidance for your path
- Release inherited patterns and burdens that no longer serve you
- Remember your authentic self, rooted in belonging and continuity
- Celebrate life while honoring those who have gone before
Using locally sourced psilocybin truffles, native to these lands, we weave ancient tradition with modern ceremony. Together, we step into the darkening season not with fear, but with reverence—listening deeply, resetting our spirits, and awakening to the authenticity our ancestors dreamed for us.
This is a sanctuary for those ready to meet themselves without masks, and to stand in the raw, liberating power of authenticity. Here, transformation is not something done to you—it is something you reclaim for yourself. Here, every circle is intentionally curated. Here, integration is not an afterthought—it is the second ceremony, the bridge between your experience and embodying the healing and transformation.
We look forward to welcoming you into The Medicine Tribe.
