What always moves me is the all-embracing insights I have seen people experience time and time again. The same miracle again and again! For a long time I have wondered what I will do in this world. After being misled for years, my first step was in the right direction towards the Kashmir Yoga and Rebalancing training. I found myself there again! Ayahuasca added another substantial layer to that. During my first journey, I saw that the best way to reach people is not with my words - but with my silence. The second journey taught me what I had to overcome to make this happen. Stopping my weed smoking for example, was a prerequisite because if I want to find true unity, I had to purify myself. In my last journey, I was shown that all the preconditions were met - I was able to get started with the next step in my path. In the meantime, I have led and guided more than 200 Ayahuasca journeys and experienced that my presence offers safety for what needs to be experienced. What always moves me is the all-embracing insights I have seen people experience time and time again. The same miracle again and again!

The Retreat

The retreat begins on Thursday afternoon. We kindly ask all participants to arrive by 3 PM.

Nestled in the heart of nature, the retreat takes place at a unique and peaceful location. Before the ceremony begins, we welcome you on our cozy farm, Motherland. Over a warm cup of tea, we’ll start with a gentle introduction round. There will be time to ask questions, settle in, and change clothes if you like.

The Ayahuasca ceremony typically lasts around six hours. Afterwards, we’ll serve a fresh fruit salad followed by a nourishing, home-cooked meal lovingly prepared by our private chef. The San Pedro (Huachuma) ceremony spans around twelve hours and will take place later in the retreat.

Before your arrival, we’ll provide clear travel directions, and if needed, we’re happy to pick you up from Assen Station.

Wonderful experience in a peaceful setting with experienced and loving guides

Margriet, Harold and Elisabeth were wonderful. The houseboot is a beautiful and peaceful surrounding for a first Ayahuasca experience and it felt very safe to have 3 guides available for 4-5 participants. We were all looked after in the best possible way and I would recommend them to anyone :) Thank you so much for all the love and kindness you give! <3

Ayahuasca Experience

This was my first time to try Ayahuasca, i planned for this for long time and i was really happy to have done it with Margriet and Martjin at Ancient Mother
They both are wonderful creatures, they know alot about what they are doing and doing it with them as i later found was really a good choice.
The experience in general and from the beginning till the end was amazing and satisfying
