About this Retreat
Elisabeth Roest Kempemo is a warm and loving guide, host, and facilitator of your retreat, providing a peaceful sanctuary in her mountain house. Raised in Sweden, she spent her summers in Sápmi, where the simple life in nature, the Sámi people and their reindeer formed and enriched her being. Her journey has been one of seeking truth and meaning, with her own healing deeply intertwined with religion, spirituality, shamanism, nature and animals. This path led her to the Netherlands, where she now helps dog owners strengthen their bond with their pets while also coordinating retreats. Elisabeth’s mission is to share the magic of Sápmi, offering a retreat where you can return to your true self, experience rest, joy, and the healing power of nature. By her side is her affectionate companion the barbet Luomi.
Amelia Perkins is a writer, facilitator, and devoted explorer of the inner life. With a Master of Theology from Harvard Divinity School and a background in Transformational Leadership and Coaching, she brings both soulful depth and playful curiosity to her work. Amelia has studied with teachers in spirituality, emotional resilience, intuitive development, spiritual tantra, and personal transformation, and spent years immersed in the inter-religious movement, working with spiritual leaders across the globe. Shaped by her own journey with grief she creates tender, warm, evocative spaces where women can reconnect with themselves, rediscover their aliveness, and dance more freely with the mystery that moves through them.
Samantha Bowers is an intuitive heart centred energy worker & facilitator, weaving together movement, breath work, soundscapes and cacao ceremonies. Her movement based practices include Kundalini yoga, conscious dance, meditative movement & celestial communication. Sharing through the lens of her own lived experience her purpose is to help you open a door to your innate wisdom and find the courage to step into the power that was always yours. Each of her offerings is curated with loving Intention and guided by intuition. She will invite you to release any expectations of what you think something “should” look like or what you “must” do and free yourself to let your soul dance free.

✨ Whispers of the Wild: Soulful Retreats for Women in Swedish Lapland ✨
Step into the untamed beauty of Lapland and connect with your feminine, inner wisdom. Rooted in a deep respect for the rhythms of the earth, our retreat combines movement, meditation, creativity, and indigenous traditions to create a space for deepening, connection, and renewal.
Each day begins with a heart-opening meditation to ground and connect. On sunny days, we’ll immerse ourselves in the wild beauty of the outdoors, while on windy or rainy days, we’ll gather indoors by the fire for cozy, soul-nourishing activities.
Here’s a glimpse of what’s waiting for you:
🌿 Movement & Meditation
Experience yoga, movement, and meditation inspired by indigenous rhythms, reconnecting with your feminine essence and inner wisdom. Led by our amazing facilitator Leslie Stoel. Each practice invites you to free your spirit and embrace the present moment.
🏔️ Mountain Walks
Discover the breathtaking Stekenjokk plateau, with its sweeping views and serene wilderness. Move in silence, let nature speak, and perhaps encounter the reindeer and our wildlife reminding us of our free spirits.
🔥 Meeting the Sámi
Connect with the Sámi people, learning about their traditions and life in harmony with the land. Around the fire in a traditional kåta, hear stories of resilience and connection shared by a Sámi woman.
🌬️Sound & Breath
Breathe deeply and release tension through transformative breathwork. Be cradled in healing sound baths, as sacred instruments restore balance and deepen your connection with yourself and the world.
🌸 Rituals & Circles
Gather in women’s circles to share, connect, and renew. Through ceremonies honoring fire, water, earth, and a cacao ritual celebrating femininity, rediscover the untamed essence within.
🎨 Creative Moments
Let nature inspire your creativity. Craft jewelry or keepsakes from juniper wood and reindeer antlers, paint freely, or create mandalas from leaves and stones. Embrace simple joys like weeding, cutting wood, or fishing by the pier.

THE SECOND OUT OF TWO RETREATS IN 2025
There are in total two retreats in 2025 which are planned around the key moments in the earth’s annual journey around the sun, the solstices and equinoxes. By observing these cosmic milestones, we can align ourselves with the energetic currents and remind ourselves of our connection to the earth and the cosmos.
Each retreat carries the name of a she-wolf whose spirit and qualities shine through in subtle ways. While the core program remains the same, the theme inspired by the she-wolf is woven into select practices, adding a distinct flavor to each retreat. The she-wolf embodies a primal, grounded aspect of feminine power, the wild feminine strength that balances independence with a nurturing care for others.
Summer Solstice Retreat
June 18-24: IYONA fierce self-love
Fall Equinox Retreat
September 8-14: ROYAA playful wisdom
