About this Retreat
Saci Murphy, E-RYT 500, Saci has been teaching all levels and branches of Integral Yoga since 2009. Previously, she enjoyed an eclectic career as a professional dancer, teacher, and choreographer for 25 years. She owned and operated a successful performing arts center and ballet company and developed a software company that pioneered interactive multimedia and training programs internationally.
Stepping into the LOTUS temple, the Light Of Truth Universal Shrine at Satchidananda Ashram – Yogaville, was a turning point for Saci. Sri Swami Satchidananda’s universal teaching that there is only one Truth within the many spiritual traditions and practices resonated deeply within her. All traditions create in us the opportunity to be present, awake and fully alive.
While living at Satchidananda Ashram–Yogaville, she directed the Living Yoga Training (LYT) residential immersion program, sharing the teachings of Raja, Bhakti, Karma and Jnana Yoga with others. In 2017 she became director of programming at the San Francisco IY Institute. Within the Bay Area, Saci had opportunities to serve those experiencing homelessness in various shelters and communities.
In 2021 Saci relocated to Arizona where she managed the Diamond Mountain Retreat Center, a Buddhist meditation center in the mountains, serving aspirants and the local Native American community.
Today, Saci continues her lighthearted and inspirational teaching at Yogaville and around the US, sharing her love of the practice. Through proper alignment of the body, breath, and movement, she also focuses on the subtle yet powerful practices of chanting, deep relaxation, pranayama, and meditation.
Swami Priyaananda is a senior disciple of Swami Satchidananda with thirty years of experience in the practice of Integral Yoga. She served in the Integral Yoga Health Services division and the Distribution Department at Satchidananda Ashram in Connecticut, as well as Executive Secretary and Coordinator of the Living Yoga Training program at the Ashram in Virginia. Currently, she is Vice President of the Office of Spiritual Development and Manager of Satchidananda Archives.
My name is Mukti Devi, ERYT-500. I have been a devotee of Swami Satchidananda since 2010. I currently work as a psychedelic-assisted therapist where I support people in returning to their True Self – which I define as a state of inner freedom that is marked by being unencumbered from social stories or limiting beliefs. Bringing a background in trauma-informed yoga therapy, rehabilitative pilates, and many years on a dedicated spiritual path, I offer allyship and unconditional positive regard for everyone I work with, no matter their current circumstances.
I was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Contemplative Psychology and Neuroscience, and a master’s degree in Transpersonal Psychotherapy from Naropa University in Boulder, CO. Most notably, I received five years training while living in India in both Tibetan Buddhism and Advaita-Vedanta while living and serving within multiple monastic ashram communities. I am a practitioner of Jungian Tarot, Shamanism, Chinese Medicine, Ayurveda and Vedic Astrology. Forms of self-care that I practice regularly include meditation, herbalism/plant medicine, drumming, yoga, qi gong, cooking, poetry, and walking barefoot on the Earth. I live with my beloved partner and plant family in Encinitas, CA.

Testimonials
Saci is a naturally gifted teacher whose warmth and encouragement creates an uplifting and inclusive environment. Her years as a dancer give her a strong foundation in body mechanics and healthy alignment, and her many years as a devoted Yogi give her a deep understanding into the more subtle levels of being, which she readily and easily imparts to her students. Her classes are accessible and fun, and you’ll leave feeling refreshed, balanced and supported. — Claire B.
The Integral Yoga teacher training came at a magical time to help me connect with my true self and to set me on a path in alignment with my heart. A greater purpose was revealed during the teacher training, rerouting me to help others heal through Yoga. The program was demanding and challenging with loving guidance from compassionate, dedicated, and wise instructors. We were required to practice what we were learning to teach. Through daily meditation, hatha yoga, breathing practices, and the study of the yoga sutras, yoga principles, and yoga history, we experienced the direct benefits of a devoted practice and blossomed into well-prepared and disciplined Integral Yoga teachers. — Paula Lucas
