Lauren has been an expert Colorado leader in the legal/regulated cannabis sector since 2015 when she first worked with NWE predecessor, CBD Outlook in conference and educational support. Lauren holds her Masters degree in psychology from the University of Denver, and is a qualified expert for addressing client psilocybin interface concerns and access recommendations. Lauren is the lead school co-pilot, and will work to match all conference delegated with their intentional journeys, preparation (including dosing, strain impact expectations, onset and re-entry monitoring) and assistance to NWE clinical research collection in the six-month post-Colorado visit integration. Since the 1990s, Lloyd has always enjoyed working with new product innovations within the communications arena-- satellite TV, high definition TV, cellular phones and digital devices. That curiousity about unproven markets drew Lloyd to the CBD and medical cannabis space in 2014 when he returned to Denver to help drive "best practices" in the rollout of cannabinoid science. In 2023 Lloyd joined other Colorado professionals in crafting some of the well-conceived legal channel policies for psilocybin access now coming to the state. Lloyd likes to share the "mechanism of action" for mushroom theories, and wants to help with PTSD and trauma-informed mental and physical care. The New West Encounters group is dedicated to sharing the latest and most profound lessons to be learned from the natural entheogenic medicines. Lloyd holds his doctorate in Business Management (dissertation on energy efficiency products) and his MA from the University of New Mexico.
