About this Retreat
Dr. Tamara Sorić, PhD, MSc Nutrition
is a nutritionist who earned her master’s degree in Nutrition in 2013 and completed her doctoral studies in 2020 at the University of Zagreb. Since has collaborated on national and international projects, including research on the impact of COVID-19 on food choices. In 2022, she founded her own nutrition counseling practice NutriPromjena in Zadar and additionally works as an external associate at several private Polyclinics. She is the co-author of more than ten scientific papers, a lecturer in dietetics at the University of Zadar, and an active member of the Croatian Nutritionists and Dietitians Society (HDND). At the retreat, she is responsible for analyzing participants’ blood and urine tests, referring them to medical specialists when needed, and creating individualized meal plans and supplementation proposals tailored to each participant.
At the retreat
Before the consultation, the nutritionist reviews your blood and urine test results taken on the first day of the retreat. At the start of the session, she records your anthropometric measurements and discusses your health, weight, energy levels, lifestyle goals, and overall wellbeing. Throughout the consultation, she explains your results in detail, highlighting the areas of health that need attention and providing guidance on how to improve them. No later than one week after the retreat ends, you will receive a personalized PDF with her professional opinion, dietary recommendations based on all measured parameters, a sample meal plan, and suggestions for supplementation if needed. She also leaves the option to contact her afterwards if anything remains unclear.
