On ceremony days most guests wake between 6 and 7 am, have breakfast at 8 am, on some days, we'll take part in activities with local Shipibo guides. At around 12pm we'll have lunch - on ceremony days, this will be the last meal of the day so that we can experience the full effect of the medicine. The ceremony starts at approx 9pm and will end between 1 and 3 am.
On non-ceremony day, we will have a private conversation with Lucy and someone that can translate, we will talk about the last ceremony and the next steps in each person's process.

Getting Here

Location icon Mai Niti Healing Center, San Francisco yarinacocha, Pucallpa, Peru

Directions

If you are coming from another country such as the US or a European country, to get to Peru, you will most likely need to fly to Lima. From Lima, you then need to go to Pucallpa which is the city nearest to our center - we'll send an inexpensive taxi to collect you from the airport and bring you directly to the center.

Accommodation

At the center, we live much like the Shipibo do in basic huts with thatched roofs built of leaves. All rooms have double beds, mosquito nets, and basic hooks and shelves for clothes. Isolated Tambos (huts) are also available for those undergoing master plant Dietas (who often require solitude)

Perfect experience for my first exposure to plant medicine
I really enjoyed my time at Mai Niti, it was exactly what i needed. I liked that there was no fluff here and i always felt safe and comfortable. As someone who had no experience with plant medicine i really valued the gentle 'ease you into it' approach, rather than having your head blown off. It made a lot of space for cultivating feelings of safety with the medicine and getting to know it more easily when there was a lot of fear inside. There is time for integration, to be still and do nothing. There were a lot of beautiful humans staying for longer periods of time (4-6 weeks +) in order to really go deep but in a very gentle way. Many of these come back each year, which says a lot about the centre. The venue itself is nothing fancy, its very simple, no feathers, no show or 'woo woo', simply some amazing human beings living their life with a long lineage of Shipibo healing capabilities - it felt real and authentic. Thank you so much Luci, Leonardo, Grover, Peter, Mara, Marina, Selva and all of the other amazing employees, volunteers and gorgeous doggos.

Thankyou Mai Niti family
Woowwwww 🙏🏼
I have just completed 33 days here.
I highly recommend Mai Niti, it is my second time here and wow…..
The evolution of the space and the services has continued to grow and fine tune, I can say the same for myself due to coming here… Maestra Lucí, Maestro Leonardo, family and team are all on point with their professionalism and service. The medicine and healing available here is second to none. The individualised program with the synergy of plants used offers a profound experience.
I have deep reverence & gratitude for Mai Niti…. & all its offerings.
