Retreat Highlights

  • The Sacred Ceremonies community is made up of spiritual seekers, tradition keepers, facilitators, and souls walking together with a shared purpose: to heal, remember, and reconnect with the essence of life. It is a safe and respectful space where every person is welcomed just as they are, free of judgment, and where the diversity of spiritual paths is honored.
  • Here, connection is born from the heart.
  • Ancestral wisdom is shared, deep listening is cultivated, and ceremonies are held to bring us back into harmony with nature, with one another, and with ourselves.
  • It is not just a place to gather — it is a living network of support where authentic bonds are built, teachings are passed on, and seeds of collective transformation are planted.

Details of this retreat

This Sacraments Shamanic-Training is a special opportunity to Initiate as the Hampeq (Sacrament Healer).

If you have received the call to work with Mother Earth’s Sacraments or to deepen your personal relationship with yourself and everything in your universe, this retreat is designed for you.

This intensive retreat prepares you to embody the role of the Missayoq (Missa carrier), which empowers you to officiate Missa Ceremonies as well as other powerful rituals, supporting those who resonate with your healing presence.

The purpose of this Initiation is to develop the necessary wisdom within you, grounded in Allin Sonco (Integrity of the Heart) and Allin Yuyay (True Knowing); learning without conjecture to create the proper setting so that life-changing healing becomes part of your ceremonies.

In short, you will gain the personal power and consciousness to provide experiences of awakening and deep healing, sharing this expansion with all who come to you for guidance in their evolution.

Additionally, you will dive deep into Andean Q’ero principles of Allin Kawsay (Right Living), integrating the wisdom of the Qhapaq-Ñan (Path of the Righteous) and other teachings:

-You will learn traditional Icaros and discover your own voice to create your own.

-You will learn how to consecrate each Sacrament.

-You will learn the Art of the Missayoq.

-You will integrate the trade of the Hampeq (Sacrament Healer).

The Hampeq is the Plant Sacrament Healer: the path of the shaman who accesses different states of consciousness through Nature’s power plants, integrating these states for service, healing, and spiritual assistance.

Why is this happening at Apu Popocatépetl?

Below is the meaning of the Apus (Mountain consciousness) and their role in your initiation.

Apu Popocatépetl and the Great Cosmic Serpent

In the shamanic tradition of the Andes, the Apus are guidance beings that offer time–space messages to those ready to listen. They are understood as mountain spirits that support balance (Ayni) in life.

Each Apu holds a distinct spirit, essence, and teaching.

Andean teachings speak of the Galactic Serpent, a flow of cosmic energy connecting our planet with the central sun of the galaxy. This energetic “umbilical cord” nourishes the Earth and reflects long cycles of planetary transformation.

For thousands of years, this Serpent was said to reside in the Himalayas, influencing the spiritual traditions of that region. Now, according to these traditions, the Serpent’s energy is moving through the Americas for the next 5600 years, supporting the awakening of a renewed feminine quality of consciousness.

Its Root Chakra is said to be located in Mt. Aconcagua, activating the Andes’ highest peak. From there, the energy travels north through the continent to Denali, Alaska.

The Chakras are understood as:

-Root: Aconcagua — Argentina

-Sacral: Illimani — Bolivia

-Solar Plexus: Ausangate — Peru

-Heart Chakra: Popocatépetl — Mexico

-Throat Chakra: Mount Shasta — USA

-Third Eye: Mount Logan — Canada

-Crown Chakra: Denali — Alaska

The energy of Apu Popocatépetl is associated with awakening the Heart Chakra — an invitation to release grief and fear, open the heart, and stand grounded in one’s true essence.

This retreat invites you to open your heart, awaken deeper consciousness, and step into the being you have always aimed to become.
