We are “Prana Foundation”, a team dedicated to preserving traditional Earth medicines and making them safely available in Europe. Currently most of our retreats are in Portugal under the guidance of Devi Chandra Ma, a Mexican medicine woman with over 20 years of experience in multiple healing modalities. In this special Retreat we have joined fores and created alliances with other amazing Healers of South America and the world.

We have the honor to present Manuela Gonzalez a Healer, curandera, from Colombia and by second year working in Portugal with Prana Portugal.

Manuela began her spiritual search from the age of 13, when she had first menstruation. This physiological and energetic change opened in her the ability to perceive the spiritual world, but given that she did not have a clear guide, she asked for help from the hands of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta to be able to fine-tune her energetic channel while she was growing up in order to be capable of taking charge of this gift.

From that age she began a self-healing process through Vedic meditation and the path of yoga and breathing. At the age of 17, she learned about ayahuasca and began a path of learning with the plant. During the first eight years, she was taught by Taita Diomedes Diaz, a Cofán community, and she also had the chance to meet with Taita Querubín Queta and his wife María, elders who guided and instructed her in the use of the medicine. After this time, she met the elder Isaias Muñoz Macanilla, leader of the Kichwua and Murui community, with whom she has been learning for the last 7 years and who gave her permission to provide the medicine.
In the present Manuela has been leading small retreats all over the world and assist a very deep healing with personal approach and using her background in Psychology to assist after with Inegration, so she can wave the both worlds together.

You will mentally and physically prepare for the ceremony, and one of the most effective ways to prepare for immersion is to set intentions. It will help you recenter and ground yourself during the ceremony. You will discuss your intention with the shaman, and clarify what is your purpose to do this work and what would be your ideal outcome. You will receive guidance on how to create specific intentions which will enable you to experience profound healing.

2 Ayahuasca ceremonies led by Manuela and depending on the size or our group, trained Facilitators on the Retreat

During the ceremonies, it is the role of Manuela as well as the facilitators to make sure that a sacred field can be created. They hold space by staying centered, acting as energetic anchors throughout the ceremony. Medicine Songs so called "Ikaros" are sung by our shaman during the ceremony in order to direct Ayahuasca’s healing powers.

Small groups of 4-12 people allows for dedicated individual care, Our Mission is Healing in the safest way possible and Connecting deeply with each one of our participants makes this Healing a super profound One.

We only intake a maximum of 12 people per retreat, which allows us to offer personalized care to every participant. During the ceremony a concentration of energies is created, on different frequencies and generating different experiences. For the shaman and facilitators to be able to work most effectively and to enhance each individual journey, we limit the number of participants. This also allows for close bonding between the participants.

→Through integration circles after each ceremony with the Team

Integration is the most important element in working with plant medicine. As one of the first integration steps, you will take part in sharing circles, which will deepen your understanding as you reflect on the group’s experiences. However integration is not just about new understandings, it is crucial to also apply them. Although you are advised not to act on big life decisions within the first few weeks, you should make specific plans so that new ways of being take root in your life and become part of you.

» CEREMONIAL NIGHT «

Stage 1: Breathwork & guided meditation prepares you for the sacred plant spirits and calms both mind and body.
Stage 2: Rapé intake helps to focus the mind and cleanse any non-serving energy. It grounds you and serves as a gate opener to other realms of consciousness.
Stage 3: Ayahuasca ceremony. The light of the candle is dimmed and we breathe in silence and complete darkness. After period of time, Icaros and Mantras are sung to remove blockages and help you stay centered. On top of that, traditional instruments are played to strengthen the healing vibrations that support the opening of your energy channels.
Stage 4: after the ceremony is closed Manuela performs personal healings for those asking for it is not part of the retreat and will be performed to those that are interested on it!
Stage 5:Nourishments & after care. When Manuela closes the healings, tea and fruits are brought to the center of the Maloca for you to enjoy
Stage 6 Integration: The day after the Ayahuasca ceremony, we come together in a sharing circle. For you to share what you have learnt. Devi Chandra Ma and the facilitators will then aid you on how these teachings can be integrated in your life.

*Sacred medicine ceremonies are intense for the body. Practicing asanas and relaxation on the days following a ceremony are a great way to recover in a healthy and effective way.

» IMPORTANT «

Our organic meals are made with love and care.
The day of the ceremony begins with a simple vegetarian breakfast, followed by a light vegetarian lunch. For some individual cases, a vegan diet or even fasting may be recommended. The meals are light and healthy, with minimum or zero products of animal origin. We recommend that you do not eat after 3:00pm, or at least five hours prior to the session. You can drink, but only water or herbal tea.

About our Retreat Venue, We work with some local Venues that provide for us Room and Food, in this Retreat we have the honor to be in a beautiful Portugues Retreat melted in a local village and its beautiful nature.
