1 Week to Heal & Awaken Through Sacred Plant Medicine
Your objective of the week is to reach at least 44 hours of Meditation in total (active & sitting)!
The basic yet powerful ingredient of this one-week retreat is mindfulness meditation. Being more aware of yourself, your body, feelings, thoughts, and surroundings is the basic ingredient to sustainable growth. We are not keen on easy shortcuts and psychotherapy sessions.
Please note that we mostly provide close guidance in the first 2 days of the retreat. Then, we prefer to provide the right context, exercises, and tools, and leave you to manage your own progress, healing, or growth under the watch of our team members. Combining meditation with other activities such as day fasting (optional with extra), nature hikes, cold sea swims, etc, can allow for more spiritual growth whenever the context is appropriate.
So, in brief, during a week with us:
You will first learn to focus your Mind on one point or activity, such as walking, breathing, a candle, what we call "Samatha",
You will start expanding your mind using "Vipassana" by "observing what is" within your body and mind, and also outside (sounds, lights, etc.). Day fasting will help in this process of awakening the giant within you, grasping that you are WAYYYY more than the story you currently believe!
