"In Lak'ech Ala K'in.
I am You and You are Me"
There is a greeting in the Mayan tradition that is familiar to many people who have come into contact with the cradle peoples of Mesoamerica or the Amazon. This is the law of "In lak'ech ala k'in". It means "I am you and you are me" according to the traditional Mayan interpretation.
This Mayan greeting is not only an expression of respect for each other, it is also a statement of unity and togetherness. "In lak'ech ala k'in" reflects the same sentiments as other beautiful greetings such as Namaste for the East Indians, Wiracocha for the Incas, Haux-Haux for the Huni Kuin and Mitakuye Oyasin for the Lakota peoples.
No matter what culture you are from, when you say or hear one of these sacred greetings, always accompany this phrase with a simple gesture - place your hand on your heart.
Maestro Alvaro has dedicated a significant part of his life to traveling, especially studying the traditions of the peoples of Latin America and equatorial Africa. He works with different plants of power - ayahuasca, iboga, changa - and calls himself a "healer of souls" or a guide to the multidimensional worlds of our subconscious. He does not consider himself a shaman, since in the Yaga tradition, a true Taita is considered to be one who has undergone 3 initiations with a break of 7 years.
He speaks four languages fluently: Russian, French, English and Latvian. He speaks basic Spanish.
