Directions

Airport Santa Marta, taxi to Minca and the guide will pick you up in front of the church and then 30mn walk in the jungle.

Minca Retreat is originally a farm in the Sierra Nevada mountains of Colombia that has managed to achieve self-sufficiency in energy (hydroelectric power), food (more than 1,000 fruit trees, a vegetable garden, and a chicken coop), and drinking water (from a mountain water source).
On-site tours are organized to learn how to make chocolate from local cacao, discover some of the richest flora and fauna in the world, and swim in the farm's waterfall.
