About this Retreat
At the tender age of twelve, ShreeGuru embarked on an extraordinary journey, leaving his family and homeland in Nepal to pursue an immersive education in the art of living. This pursuit centered on the profound discipline of yoga. For over a decade, he dedicated himself to rigorous study and practical application, residing within the structured environments of various ashrams across India. These ashrams served as crucibles, where he absorbed the intricate philosophies and physical practices of yoga, experiencing firsthand the disciplined lifestyle and spiritual depth it offered.
Following this extensive period of dedicated learning and personal transformation within the Indian ashram system, Shreesh returned to his native Nepal. He chose the serene city of Pokhara as his base, where he began to share his accumulated knowledge and experience by teaching yoga.
Shreesh, embodying the spirit of a true yogi, is driven by a deep desire to disseminate the knowledge, underscore the importance, and demonstrate the transformative impact of yoga to all of humanity. He envisions a world where the benefits of yoga, encompassing physical, mental, and spiritual well-being, are accessible to everyone.
His yoga classes are meticulously designed to provide a holistic experience. Participants are guided through a carefully curated sequence that integrates pranayama (breathing exercises), asana (physical postures), and dynamic movements. This comprehensive approach ensures that students not only gain physical strength and flexibility but also cultivate mental clarity, emotional balance, and a deeper connection to their inner selves. The combination of these techniques within his classes provides a well rounded experience for the participants.
Swabhiman is a skilled yoga and meditation instructor with excellent knowledge in the field. He also leads treks effectively, incorporating proper stretching routines.
