Bridging the gap between the mat and the mountains, Jay is originally from a small town Mugling in the Chitwan district, he began his career in 2017 as a helper for yoga treks. He received the government trekking guide license in 2021 and later completed a RYT-200 in Nepal. Today, he works as a yoga teacher and trekking guide at Yatri yoga retreat.
Jay brings over six years of dedicated experience to his role as a mountain guide and yoga instructor, uniquely blending physical endurance with deep inner work. His retreats are renowned for a philosophy that shifts the traditional mountaineering focus from outward conquest to “Inner Engineering,” using the natural challenge of high altitudes as a catalyst for profound personal development.

It is known for a sunrise view of the Himalayas which include 8 Himalayan ranges of Nepal out of 13, they are: Mount Everest, Annapurna range, Manaslu range, Ganesh himal range, Langtang range, Jugal range, Rolwaling range, Mahalangur range (Everest range) and Numbur range. Nagarkot also offers a panoramic view of the Kathmandu city.
