First, I started karate when I was five years old and represented New Zealand all over the world, including being the youngest black belt at 10 years of age and a junior world championship at 17. I wanted to be the best and researched methods that would allow me to reach my full potential. Secondly, watching those close to me struggle with their health influenced me to take my own wellness seriously. This inspired me to become a fitness coach so I could help, not only myself but those around me, who struggled with their health perform at their best both physically and mentally.
