Retreat Highlights

  • We don't just offer yoga or beautiful landscapes; we create a holistic journey where every detail, from the food to the ceremonies, is carefully designed to activate a profound reconnection:
  • Sacred Territory, Powerful Energy: Pucón is not your average tourist destination. It is a place of power, guarded by the Villarrica Volcano, pristine lakes, and ancient forests that have witnessed Mapuche ceremonies for centuries. Here, the land itself speaks to you.
  • Living Ancestral Wisdom: You won't read about indigenous cultures; you will experience them. You will share the fire with a Mapuche grandmother, walk among sacred araucaria trees, and receive Buddhist teachings in a temple alongside a lama. It is a unique fusion of traditions that awakens the soul.
  • Food as Ritual: Every bite is medicine. You will taste a high-level vegetarian cuisine, based on Mapuche cuisine and prepared with local ingredients, that nourishes your body and your connection to the Earth.
  • Unique sensory experiences: Immerse yourself in natural hot springs, breathe in front of 70-meter waterfalls, or receive a forest bath guided by specialists… These moments are unmatched at any other retreat.

Schedule

Day 1 – Beginning the Journey: Water, Forest & Deep Warmth.
We begin this 5-day experience by gathering at the hotel, where we’ll share a warm welcome, introduce ourselves, and prepare to gradually shift into a different rhythm.
Shortly after, we will travel by vehicle (less than 30 minutes) to a hidden corner of the territory: a waterfall over 70 meters high, framed by unique geological formations and surrounded by a lush temperate rainforest. The song of birds, the scent of moist earth, and the mist of the water will accompany us on a brief sensory immersion walk.
Upon arrival, we’ll hold a symbolic opening ceremony, honoring the ancestral wisdom of the land and asking permission from the forest and the waters to embark on this path of transformation.
From there, we’ll continue to the hot springs in the Huife area, where geothermal waters rising from the depths of the Earth will invite us to rest, regenerate, and contemplate—accompanied by the gentle flow of the Liucura River.
We’ll end the day by returning to the hotel to enjoy a nourishing dinner and a well-deserved rest.

Day 2 – Paths of the Pehuén: Hiking, Yoga & Ancestral Flavors.
We begin this second day with a guided sunrise meditation, letting silence and conscious breathing open the heart to a day of deep connection with nature.
After breakfast, we will head east on a journey of about 70 kilometers. Along the way, the landscape will offer us postcard views of majestic volcanoes, native forests, and ancient rock formations that speak of the strength and memory of the land.
Our first stop will be the magical Laguna Quillelhue, the starting point for a gentle hike through forests of Araucaria trees, or Pehuén—a sacred and ancient tree revered by the ancestral Pehuenche people, whose seed, the piñón, has long been a vital source of nourishment.

We’ll walk alongside rivers, observe native birds, and pause to admire the impressive Lanín Volcano, whose snow-capped summit rises to 3,776 meters as a guardian of the landscape.
Upon reaching the serene Laguna Escondida, we’ll pause to attune ourselves to the environment. On our way back, we’ll engage in a yoga session led by our instructor, who will choose a natural setting with intention and care. For 45 minutes, body and spirit will move in harmony with the forest, allowing the physical and the spiritual to weave together with the energy of the place.
In the afternoon, we will visit the village of Curarrehue, known for its slow, wise pace of life. There, we’ll be welcomed by a renowned Pehuenche chef, who will offer us an intimate culinary experience crafted with local ingredients and rooted in traditional ancestral cooking.
We’ll return to Pucón in the evening and close the day with a light, restorative dinner—letting rest prepare the body and soul for the next stage of the journey.

Day 3 – Breathing the Forest, Listening to Wisdom.

Now more rooted in this healing land, we begin the third day with a yoga and meditation session to fine-tune our inner listening before once again heading into nature.
We will travel less than 30 minutes to a carefully selected corner of the forest, where we will experience a deep forest bathing session guided by a local specialist. Through a slow and silent immersion, we will explore the living energy of the southern Chilean forest—pausing to observe its shapes, aromas, and sounds, and opening our hearts to the mystery, design, and wisdom of the natural world.
At midday, we will head to a cozy space where we’ll enjoy a gourmet vegetarian lunch, prepared with fresh seasonal ingredients and recipes that highlight the most authentic expressions of local cuisine.
After a restorative rest back at the hotel, we will travel in the afternoon to the Ruka (traditional house) of a Mapuche elder woman, located in her community no more than 30 minutes away. There, we’ll be warmly and respectfully welcomed into an intimate, ancestral space to share

in a unique moment of oral and spiritual transmission. Sitting around the fire, we’ll open a space to listen to her worldview, stories, and teachings.
We will close this day with a healthy dinner prepared by the elder and her partner—a gesture of deep hospitality that honors the cycles of life and the spirit of community. We return to the hotel with our souls nourished by stories, silence, and living memory.

Day 4 – Meeting of Traditions: Buddhism, Nature & Restorative Waters.

On this penultimate day of the retreat, we begin with a gentle and profound guided yoga session, preparing body and mind for a day of encounter with other paths of wisdom.
We’ll travel to the Huife area, where we’ll live a unique experience: a visit to the temple and stupa of a Tibetan Lama who has made this corner of southern Chile his home—fusing Tibetan spirituality with the quiet strength of the local landscape.
In this sacred space, we will engage in open dialogue—discussing everyday topics as well as deeper principles of Buddhism—before sharing chants and a guided meditation, surrounded by mountains, forests, and silence.
Following this experience, we’ll head to Amankay, a small themed restaurant rich in local identity, where we will enjoy a wholesome lunch in a cozy space full of stories, details, and flavor. The warm contact with the community and the soul of the place will deepen the meaning of the day.
In the afternoon, we’ll return once more to the region’s thermal waters—this time at a thoughtfully designed site that balances the natural and the aesthetic, inviting us into deep relaxation, contemplation, and peace.
We close the day by returning to the hotel in a state of expanded calm, preparing body and soul for the final day of the journey.

Day 5 – Honoring What Has Been Lived: Encounter with the Spirit of the Volcano.

After four days of deep immersion in nature, in the body, culture, and soul of the land, the time has come to close this journey with meaning and gratitude.
We begin with our daily yoga and meditation practice, integrating everything we’ve experienced and preparing the heart for one final encounter with the living force of the landscape.
We will then head toward the base of Rukapillan Volcano—“House of the Spirits” in Mapuzungun—also known as Villarrica Volcano, one of the most iconic and sacred guardians of this territory. In an open space prepared by the local community, we will hold a symbolic closing ceremony, giving thanks to the volcano and the land for all that has been shared, learned, and transformed within us.
Afterward, we will take a gentle 45-minute walk along a trail offering panoramic views: the smoking summit of the volcano, Lake Villarrica, and a sweeping horizon of forests and lagoons will accompany us in this final physical and contemplative journey.
To close with flavor and warmth, we will gather at the renowned Trawen Restaurant, located in the heart of Pucón, where we will share a healthy and festive meal in a cozy, friendly setting known for its culinary excellence.
With a heartfelt group embrace and expanded spirits, we return to the hotel—bringing this experiential journey to a close, with the deep knowing that something essential has awakened within us and will remain with us.
