Dion Freeman

About the Teacher

Why study with them?

Dion Freeman is the Kaitiaki (guardian) and lineage holder of Honohono Healing International. He carries the teachings of his grandmother, Sally Ranguiaia Deery, and Tohunga (Spiritual Elder) Riwai Pakerau, who entrusted him with the responsibility of keeping Honohono alive and sharing it with integrity.

For over two decades, Dion has guided individuals and groups through healing, training, and transformation. His work is deeply rooted in Māori healing traditions while also responding to the needs of today, bridging ancient wisdom with modern life.

As teacher and facilitator of the Honohono Healing Retreat in Spain, Dion brings a presence that is both grounding and transformative. His teaching style combines clear guidance with deep care, offering a safe and powerful container for participants to explore, heal, and grow.

Dion’s vision is to open pathways for people across the world to reconnect to themselves, their whānau (families), and the collective through the sacred practice of Honohono.
