Lea Garnier
About the Teacher
Why study with them?
Lea Garnier has worked in the healing arts for over 20 years and is an accomplished practitioner in this field. She began her healing journey by making healing paintings that have been displayed, sold and published in Europe and New York State. Lea found Craniosacral Therapy in NYC after suffering neck and back injuries sustained in an auto accident. The relief she found from this work was so profound she momentarily put down her painting brushes to pursue training.
She now has more than 15 years experience as an Upledger trained Craniosacral Therapist and has a private practice at Sage Center for the Healing Arts in Woodstock, NY, a center she co-founded in 2007, and co-directs with her husband Philippe Garnier. http://www.sagehealingcenter.org
In 2008 she became a certified yoga instructor trained in the Desikachar linage, and specializes in teaching the integration of sound healing and sound awareness (nada) with gentleasana in a yoga class setting. A safe and fun environment is created which integrates the sacred sound medicine of crystal singing bowls, gongs, mantra and traditional instruments from various indigenous cultures. She teaches the 1st Sunday of every month from 2 to 3:30pm.
