Carolina Cordero Serrano is a clinical psychologist, psychotherapist and Andean medicine practitioner with 26 years exploring human behaviour, psychology and consciousness, and over 14 years accompanying people through emotional, relational, communicative and existential difficulties.
Throughout her journey she has trained in different psychological and therapeutic approaches, while also walking a deep personal path of self-knowledge and inner exploration. This has led her to a profoundly human and authentic way of accompanying others — without labels, without judgment and without guilt.
For 12 years she has practiced mindfulness, and over the last 5 years has deepened her work with consciousness expansion processes and ancestral medicine.
Her approach integrates mind, body and consciousness — understanding the human being as a whole: thoughts, emotions, sensations and presence.
Carolina accompanies people to develop mental clarity, allow themselves to feel, release emotions, understand themselves more deeply, accept what is and connect with their own values — to live with greater coherence and meaning.
As a trained Andean medicine practitioner, Carolina brings her own deep personal experience with ayahuasca and ancestral medicine into her work. This lived experience — combined with her clinical training — gives her a unique capacity to accompany others through the most vulnerable and profound moments of their inner journey. She knows from the inside what she accompanies from the outside.
When a person feels ready to go deeper into their inner journey, consciousness expansion processes and ancestral medicine can be a profoundly transformative support.
Carolina is co-founder of Flor de la Vida — Terapia Integral, based in Cuenca, Ecuador. She leads all psychological accompaniment throughout the entire process — individually and in group — including pre-retreat preparation, individual and group emotional support during the retreat, and individual and group post-retreat integration sessions. Before, during and after, Carolina is there.
Carolina and Xavier are not just professional partners. They are life partners, parents and friends. Something greater than a shared project unites them — a way of understanding life, healing and the human being that goes far beyond any technique or method. What they bring to their retreats is not just clinical expertise. It is the lived experience of two people who have walked their own path of transformation together, and who have chosen to dedicate their lives to accompanying others on theirs.
