Alan Christopher
About the Teacher
Why study with them?
In California Alan focused on Restorative Justice with “at-risk youth” introducing ritual with local elders. His professors then invited him to NAC meetings and Niños Santos veladas. After being a psychedelic therapy client for 3 years traveling annually to Huatla working with Mama Julieta, one of the Counsel of 13 Indigenous Grandmothers, he was asked to join what became the Consciousness Medicine Community training in 2012.
Because of his early life submerced drug culture, Alan moved to Mexico to work in the ibogaine industry co-founding Medicine Heart Recovery. His work focuses on building connection through practices informed by various traditions such as Mazatec, Dakota Sioux, Nimiipuu, Wixarika, Dagara, Vegetalismo, Vajrayana, IFS, Psicomagia, Reiki, Qi Gong, Hakomi, Holistic Sacred Body Rites, craniosacral, evolutionary astrology, breathwork, and other somatic mindful approaches to healing.
The wide array of global healing disciplines makes Alan’s work truly integrative to help optimize outcomes of the most challenging of conditions from addiction, autoimmune diseases, and heartbreak all of which have roots in acute and inherited epigenetic trauma.
