Mila – Retreat Host & Ceremony Support

Mila is the retreat host and ceremony support at Madre Verde. Together with Rubén, she helps care for the space, prepare the center, and support guests throughout the retreat process.

Her role is practical, personal, and deeply present: she welcomes participants, helps prepare the ceremonial setting, supports the rhythm of the retreat, prepares nourishing vegetarian meals, and helps guests feel cared for during their time in the jungle.

Mila also supports the ceremonial space through music and, when appropriate, the administration of sacred rapé as part of the plant medicine tradition. Her presence brings warmth, attention, and grounding to the retreat experience.

At Madre Verde, Mila helps create the conditions for guests to slow down, feel held, and move through the retreat with clarity, respect, and care.
