Mixed experience
One aspect I didn't enjoy was that the facilitators' children were present during the retreat. While this is obviously their home and family life, I felt it sometimes distracted from the retreat atmosphere, and the facilitators understandably had to divide their attention.
The location is very remote and there isn't much space to walk or explore outside beyond the garden area. On the positive side, the rooms were comfortable and the food was good.
I would recommend this retreat to people who are primarily interested in the medicine itself and don't place too much importance on the retreat setting or overall environment. It's not a bad place—just not the right fit for me.
