Marianne Larochelle is a multimedia artist and photographer with over 30 yrs of professional experience .

‘’My photography is about giving life to the mystery, the unseen.For as long as i can remember I have been fascinated by the drama of being a human.Through the study of light and shadows ,fairy tales, mythology, archetypes and the otherworldly exquisite beauty of the dream world, I have spent many years digging through the lost stories of our Humanity. More specifically, I have been diving into the discarded tales of female history.  Through this artistic endeavor I have come to see myself as an anthropologist of the woman’s mind. My photography attempts to understand who we are, especially by examining what is happening in the unexplored recesses of the human psyche.’’

She creates everything within the camera, using well-known classic techniques like multiple exposures, long exposures, and light painting to try to capture simultaneous moments in time and unveil mysterious worlds of beauty that lie beneath the surface of conventional representations and wisdom.
