Why study with them?
For over thirty years Alfonso has been involved in neuropsychiatry, treating patients and not diseases, with empathy without compassion, trying to understand rather than classify.
In April 1986 Alfonso graduated from the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery of the University of Turin. In the same year he deepened his interest in complementary disciplines by attending the School of Oriental Medicine and Acupuncture.
He later obtained a Specialization in Neurology at the University of Turin and followed a specialization course in
Psychopathology and Forensic Psychology.
Since 1990 he has worked at the Cottolengo Hospital in Turin, where he contributed to the foundation of the Neurology Service, of which he assumes responsibility. In this context, he carries out neurological, neurophysiological and psychiatric consultancy activities.
From 2011 to 2016 he held the Brain Aging course at the Agorà Post-University School of Anti-Aging Medicine in Milan and since 2017 he has been Head of Neurogeriatrics at the Santa Caterina da Siena Clinic in Turin, continuing his clinical and research activity in the field of neurology and neurodegenerative diseases.
