I’m Ioannis Stamatelatos, certified olive oil taster by the National Organisation of Italy and founder of www.theolivest.com, the exclusive online shop for top-quality Greek extra virgin olive oils. I am also the inspirer of The Olivest Showroom in Athens, where we host premium olive oil tastings for visitors from all over the world.
After 18 years leading digital products in the corporate world, I have recently transitioned fully into my passion for olive oil.
Being part of the Olive Oil Addicts team, I have the opportunity to taste oils from around the world monthly to keep my palate sharp. Married and proud father of two, I love trekking in the mountains where I discover wild herbs, spices, and flowers that later can be found in olive oil aromas.
