About the Teacher
Why study with them?
I was born in Roaboya Nativa, District of Padre Márquez, Province of Ucayali, Department of Loreto, on August 25, 1952, son of Mr. Eloy Ramos and Mrs. Amelia Huayta, both descendants of the Shipibo people.
From an early age, I learned many household tasks and aspects of daily life as a woman through the teachings and guidance of my mother, who now rests in peace. She was a firm believer in medicinal plants.
Mama Ida, embraced this experience and knowledge, and at the age of 12, she began taking the medicine. Then one day, the spirit of the plant opened the light, and from the depths of her heart emerged the calling to diet with the master plants.
She now has over 50 years of experience in the practice, management, and use of medicinal plants, healing and curing many people with various illnesses through natural medicine and the visions of ayahuasca.
