About the Teacher
Why study with them?
I was born in Canaan de Chia Tipishca, District of Contamana, Province of Ucayali, Department of Loreto, on June 2, 1966, son of Mr. Daniel Lopez Sanches and Mrs. Ida Ramos Huayta, both descendants of the Shipibo people.
I grew up in the Native Community of Roaboya, under the care and protection of my grandparents on both my father's and mother's side.
They were great sages and knowledgeable about medicinal plants. For this reason, from an early age, I was treated with various healing plants and grew up with that energy, also protected by the spirits of those plants.
I learned from my grandparents the household tasks and daily life skills, and I received complementary teachings from my parents. My mother, as a wise woman of the culture and knowledgeable in ancestral wisdom, patiently taught me how to use and apply natural medicines. She is a firm believer in medicinal plants.
Currently, I have been practicing this healing experience and medicinal knowledge for 15 consecutive years, and as a medico vegetalista and ayahuasquero, I have been helping and healing many people who seek recovery through medicinal and miraculous plants.
