About the Teacher
Why study with them?
Nicola Beer is a certified trauma-informed therapist, counselor, transpersonal psychotherapist, and plant medicine retreat guide with over 20 years of experience helping individuals and couples heal from trauma, anxiety, depression, low self-worth, and relationship struggles. She holds a degree in Social Science from the University of Bath (UK) and is also certified in emotional-bodywork healing, clinical hypnotherapy, yoga teacher training, NLP, and the Journey method for emotional clearing.
Nicola’s therapeutic work naturally evolved into plant medicine facilitation after years of witnessing the limits of talk therapy alone. She trained in San Pedro (Huachuma) medicine through direct apprenticeship in Ecuador, and now integrates ancestral wisdom with deep emotional processing, body-based healing, and grounded integration support. Since then she has also completed training working with Psilocybin (magic) mushrooms.
Her retreats offer a rare fusion of sacred plant medicine and professional therapeutic guidance, allowing guests to explore their inner world in a safe, compassionate, and structured way.
Nicola is currently completing Dr. Gabor Maté’s Compassionate Inquiry (CI) training as well as a certification in assisted psychedelic integration, deepening her capacity to support trauma release and long-term transformation.
She is also the host of two respected podcasts—Relationship Revival and Healing with Psychedelics—where she shares tools, stories, and insights from the intersection of psychology, spirituality, and medicine work. Her approach is gentle, loving, and deeply respectful of each person's inner wisdom and healing journey.
