Kannon Yin Suedawa
About the Teacher
Why study with them?
Kannon, born in the Dominican Republic, was immersed in spiritual and mystical traditions from an early age, influenced by voodoo and shamanism. His journey began with a deep connection to yoga, which he started practicing as a child. As he grew, Kannon expanded his studies, engaging with esoteric and hermetic traditions, including affiliations with Gnostic groups, while also exploring Okinawan karate, music, and the arts.
At the age of 20, Kannon moved to Europe, where he became deeply involved in the Sufi tradition, embracing practices such as whirling dervish meditation. These diverse paths have culminated in Kannon embodying the essence of a Yogi and Shaman—roles he attributes not to formal teaching but to an innate remembrance deeply rooted in his being since childhood.
Kannon's unique connection to life and death has been profoundly shaped by his own near-death experiences, which have deepened his understanding of existence and spirituality. Today, he resides in a quiet flat in Ladbroke Grove, London, where he continues to live a life of introspection and devotion, sharing his gifts with those seeking transformation and connection.
