Located in the department of La Vienne our warm and inviting stone and wooden beam 18thC farmhouse is surrounded by beautiful gardens, an elegant swimming pool and open fields. We have eggs from our hens and fresh produce from our vegetable garden and beautiful historic medieval towns in the vicinity where French markets thrive. The area is renowned for its painted Romanesque murals; nearby we have the Abbey of Saint Savin, a UNESCO World Heritage site nicknamed the Sistine Chapel of Roman Art.

Flights from the UK operate to Poitiers, typically on Sundays. Alternatively, you may fly into Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG) or Limoges Airport (LIG) and take a train to Poitiers Station, where a courtesy pick-up to the retreat can be arranged.
