Traditional Alentejo Architecture: Guests stay in a beautifully restored manor house, featuring thick whitewashed walls and high wooden-beamed.

Directions

Nearest International Airport
Lisbon Humberto Delgado Airport (LIS): This is the main gateway for international travelers. It is located approximately 125 km (78 miles) from the retreat center, a journey of about 1 hour and 15 minutes by car.

By Car (Recommended)
Driving is the most flexible way to explore the Alentejo.

From Lisbon: Take the A2 (South) and then the A6 towards Évora/Spain. Exit at Montemor-Este/Arraiolos and follow the N4 toward Arraiolos, then continue toward Vimieiro.

An amazing time at Tinctoria
I had the pleasure of a one on one experience at the home of Conceicao - I felt so at home and welcomed.

As I also work in art experiencing and making colour, Cao really tailored the experience- we had a beautiful time foraging for colour ingredients, sitting amongst the olives and making dye.

I enjoyed this so much and would love to return
