Arkana Spiritual Center

Coming to Arkana, I had very high expectations I must say. I had previously sat with aya in the Peruvian jungle, so I thought I knew what to expect. But what I found here was something far beyond anything I could have imagined.

Everything was just absolutely perfect, down to the smallest detail. From the thoughtfully designed daily schedules, to the breathtaking ceremonies and the incredibly fresh food served every day. I honestly didn’t know a place like this could exist!

The entire team was incredibly presence and caring. It felt like they had been doing this forever. There was always someone to talk to, always someone holding space.
And the shamans, wow! They didn’t just guide the ceremonies, they were deeply involved in our personal healing processes throughout the retreat. It all felt deeply genuine and extremely safe.

Having José, the founder and owner, present at the retreat – listening to us, sharing his own stories, and being one of us, was just the icing on the cake.

Humans are social creatures. I had forgotten that. Withdrawing from my friends and family and spending most of my time in my room with the curtains closed. Stuck on autopilot and addicted to everything bad for me. I decided to make a change and purchase a week at Arkana in Peru. It is one of the best decisions i have made. In terms of location it is the most beautiful place i have visited and the home of ayahuasca. I had never seen the milky way galaxy before coming here. You are blessed to see the amazing wildlife of the jungle in the day. Going to a ceremony takes you back in time and you will hear the most beautiful music. The people you meet here at arkana will be your family for life. I leave arkana with a plan to improve my life and social connections i will be carrying forward. I am so greatly honoured to have this experience and recommend you to step into the unknown and try it. You'll thank yourself.

I have visited the Peruvian Jungle location twice, 2023 and 2025. The place, the people, and the vibes are impeccable. When I meditate at home I am often transported back to the ceremonies I have sat in, in the presence of the Shamanes and facilitators who helped me and many others. Because of the healing I received I feel like I have a chance and will do my part to make the most of my life. Stop and listen to nature, to yourself. Thank you, Team Arkana!

In July 2025, I experienced something at Arkana Amazon that no words can fully contain—but I’ll try, because someone out there needs this like I did.

I came in carrying years of pain, confusion, and emotional baggage. Western therapy gave me language—but Arkana gave me liberation. In just one week, I felt like I lived through ten years of breakthroughs. Not intellectually. Spiritually. Emotionally. Cellularly.

Speaking as a first responder of 18 years of service in Emergency Services. Arkana is like an Inexpensive Care Unit for a Spiritual Hospital. I literally met Jesus Christ and even stood at the feet of God himself. The processing there is very intense like a motion picture of all the traumatic events and experiences I’ve been trying to work through as a Paramedic for decades, and in my personal life; it’s all connected so need to heal both at the same time. They offer so much there for treatment compared to what we offer back home for people like me by a 100 fold.

The therapy they offer at Arkana is incredible and I plan to recommend it to all the first responders that I know who are struggling with grief and PTSD as well, so that they can go through the same intense processing, so that they can start to heal and recover as well. The treatment back home is like kiddy gloves in comparison, it’s too gentle and not what we really need to purge all the death, suffering, and grief from decades of trauma. They literally are doing God’s work in Peru and can attest to that…

In fact, I recommend that physiologists come here from back home to witness and experience what these people have to offer. It might make you realize that we are doing things wrong back home in the western world.
