Upon arrival to our Sacred Valley Center, which is nestled in the mountains on the expansive banks of the Urubamba River, you are greeted by our loving staff of facilitators and healers. This center is a community of loving healers.

The serene and mystical Sacred Valley of Peru is considered one of the most energetically powerful places on Earth. We find that simply being in the presence of the ancient Andean mountains, historical archeological zones, and crisp air, offers wisdom and deep nourishment for the mind, body, and spirit.

At Arkana Spiritual Center, we work closely with indigenous shamans and our staff of healers to bring you a comprehensive program deeply rooted in the traditional practices of ancestral medicine. We offer a safe, caring, and effective space to begin your journey of transformation, helping you every step of the way as you uncover the energetic roots of any trauma, negative thought patterns, unhealthy habits, or spiritual imbalance.

Directions

Flight Information
• Nearest Airport: Cusco Alejandro Velasco Astete International (CUZ)
• Inbound: We recommend flying in the day prior to the start of the retreat so you can get settled in.
• Outbound: You can fly out any time after 3 pm on the last day of the retreat (Saturday). We recommend staying overnight in Cusco and flying out on Sunday.
• Preferred Airlines LATAM or Sky Airlines since they are the most reliable.
• Immigration & Customs: If you are incoming from abroad, you will have to clear customs and immigration in Lima. This means you will need to pick up your bags from baggage claim and re-check them for your domestic flight to Iquitos. Please allow sufficient time in the layover for this.

Ground Transportation: We provide a complimentary shuttle to/from the Center from Cusco.

Transformation experience

I recently visited the Arkana Spiritual Center Retreat in the Amazon, Peru — and it was a truly transformative experience.

Having done shorter two-day retreats in the U.S., I thought I knew what to expect, but Arkana took the journey to another level. The care and attention from the staff were exceptional, and every ceremony felt raw, authentic, and deeply sacred — especially with the icaros and powerful singing from the shamans.

The breathwork and meditation sessions before each ceremony helped me ground and prepare for the inner work ahead. Through the process, I learned that true healing comes from surrender, not control — letting go rather than forcing outcomes.

Arkana healing the world, one heart at a time.

I put a lot of thought where to attend for my first plant medicine retreat and I could not be more pleased with my choice. I attended the Amazon for the 7 day Ayahuasca Retreat at Arkana Spiritual Center.

The location itself was incredible. To be in the jungle surrounded by nature close to the source of the medicine was so profound. The amenities were incredible and beautifully designed. Everywhere was spectacularly clean and you can tell how much care all of the staff put into the location. The food was beautifully presented delicious and nutritious.

The excursions available added some incredible experiences to the whole experience and guides were so passionate and knowledgeable not only providing amazing excursions but providing education with each trip. You can tell they are so passionate about what they do which just added to the experience.

The activities provided during the retreat were amazing. From Yoga to sound baths every part of the retreat is designed to help you on your journey of healing through your mind body and soul.

The facilitators were some of the most pure souls I have ever encountered creating a welcoming safe space where you felt cared for every step of the way.

I was honoured and privileged to be in the presence of the Shamans and for the opportunity to receive healing. The icaros were so powerful and spoke strait into your heart.

There is so much care and respect put into the medicine knowing Arkana practices regarding the medicine to be sustainable, environmentally conscious and ethical was also important to me and this was clear throughout my duration at Arkana. I worked with Ayahuasca and Bufo during my time at Arkana the ceremonies were beautiful and opened the door to inner healing and deep introspection. I know my experience working with the medicine has just begun and I am overwhelmed with gratitude for Arkana for providing me sanctuary and guiding me on this journey.

Arkana is such a special place and is truly life changing. I recommend Arkana to anyone who feels a calling to the medicine. Attending the 7-day retreat at Arkana Spiritual Center in the Amazon was absolutely life-changing. Best ever

If you are thinking about a plant medicine retreat, go to Arkana. The staff and management are so knowledgeable and kind and passionate about creating the ideal container for healing. The shamans are world class. The location is incredible, and all of the architecture is blended beautifully with the environment and in keeping with a truly sacred space. And the integration component, which is really the most important part, is supported and facilitated so well by the structured activities of the week and all of the people involved. There are too many to name, but I have to say Maddy and Mattie were life changing with their breath work and music.
