Experiencing the Real Findhorn Experience
Experience Week is much more than just a typical retreat and to me is more of a heart-opening shift from the isolated "I" to the power of "We." You’re basically stepping through the foundational gateway of the Findhorn Ecovillage, and it’s a total immersion into what it actually looks like to live in a community. It’s built around these core principles from the early days of the community that still are applied today: deep listening, co-creation with nature, and love in action. You really feel that you are encouraged to act on the "Love in Action" when you’re working in the gardens and this stops it from being just work and becomes a moving meditation where you're contributing to the whole as well as being able to cocreate with nature at the same time. Through daily attunement and sharing the rhythm of life you start to see how a group of very different people can actually function as one harmonious organism. You’re not just an observer; you’re stepping into a 60-year-old "living archive" of human potential. If you’re ready to move away from that solitary path and dive in, then you are ready for all that deep, shared wisdom that only comes out through living together, and this could be your roadmap.
