From the get go we felt that the team at Willkamayu Spirit takes a lot of care in their craft. Our intake conversation immediately felt like we were at the right place. They take their time checking any health problems you may have and how this could physically but also mentally influence your journey.

What made our retreat truly special was the small group and how much each time Maestro Jon was able to give us. Conversations that would otherwise feel difficult came natural this way and we felt like we could be a lot more vulnerable than anticipated. Something a bigger group might not have been able to give us. Maestro Jhon speaks from a place of wisdom but also passion and love for his work. This genuine interest and care creates an inspiring space for energies to flow freely. We were enthralled by every step of the process. The ceremonies felt safe and taken care of. The rituals surrounding the journey grounded us and gave us new insight on how to approach any sort of medicine or healing in our life.

The conversations before and after helped us truly work on our intentions. And I am forever grateful that I was able to speak about my journey for as long as I did. Having the space to make sense of everything was something as insightful and profound as the ceremonies themselves. We feel ready to take on the next step of integration.

I attended a 5 day retreat which included two Ayahuasca ceremonies and one San Pedro. From the moment I arrived I was made to feel very at home and secure. The group was purposefully kept small, which allowed for a very intimate experience with my fellow retreat participants.

You can tell this hasn't been just thrown together, it's taken years of craft and tinkering, so many small details to allow for such a great connection.

I have done many retreats, processes, and healing modalities, and I cannot emphasise enough how wonderful my time with Janneke and Jhon was. I did a three-day Inner Child and Huachuma retreat, and the amount of care and attention I received from these beautiful people — and the beautiful cactus — was truly above and beyond. (And not to forget Jakeline, who fed me so wonderfully.)

The Inner Child work with Janneke already touched somewhere I had only hoped Huachuma might, even though I have done a fair amount of this kind of work. Then the one-on-one ceremony with Jhon, followed by a walk up into the jagged mountains above Urubamba, brought deep healing, teachings, and understanding. Huachuma is a slow, gentle but very powerful teacher — as is Jhon.

I am deeply grateful to whatever finger of fate pointed me to the Willkamayu Spirit website. If you are reading this, perhaps that same finger is looking out for you. Don’t ignore it. Beautiful, loving, personal, genuine healing awaits.

What an amazing experience! Dear wonderful team at Willkamayu retreat, thank you for a truly authentic encounter. I’ve been on a couple of different journey evenings now and nothing comes close to what I experienced here! I was blown away, as the vine moved through every corner of my body (like a serpent!) each vein, cell and limb was activated… Mother Ayahuasca searches for the depths of the darkness we store in our bodies. Unbelievable. I came to heal some wounds, to feel/become more aligned and to be more clear as I could feel some things were holding me back. I followed my heart (eventually) and simply let go… that was when mother ayahuasca took over and cleansed every inch, in truly spectacular fashion, she will leave nothing behind if you let her in..!!
