Getting Here

Location icon Naturalia Retreat Center, Iquitos, Perú

Directions

We are located near the city of Iquitos, Peru, in the heart of the Amazon rainforest. The nearest airport is Coronel FAP Francisco Secada Vignetta Airport (IQT), which offers daily flights from Lima and other major Peruvian cities. We recommend that you arrive in Iquitos at least one day before your retreat starts and plan your return flight one day after the retreat ends, as the center is deep in the jungle and can only be reached during daylight hours. Getting to the meeting point: From Iquitos Airport, it takes around 25 minutes by motocarro (three-wheeler moto taxi) to reach the city center (Plaza de Armas). The ride costs approximately 20 soles (about 6 USD or 5 EUR) — no more. Some drivers may ask for higher prices, so don’t hesitate to negotiate. Meeting Point: 🕢 Monday at 7:30 a.m. in front of the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel, located on the Plaza de Armas of Iquitos. From there, our team will guide you on a beautiful journey to Naturalia: 15 minutes by motocarro 20–30 minutes by boat on the Amazon River Around 1 hour of walking through a protected jungle trail with local porters carrying your luggage This journey is part of the experience — a transition into nature, silence, and connection with the Amazon. Please note that the return to Iquitos takes place on Sunday morning, arriving back in the city around 10:30 a.m. We are always reachable on WhatsApp (+51 929 522 040) for any assistance regarding your arrival, transportation, or hotel recommendations before and after the retreat.

Can’t be better
Absolutely beautiful. So grateful to Paula and Manu for creating the space which is beautiful and homey. To Gina for recharging yoga classes. To Richard for his support during ceremonies. And to all the staff for delicious food and making the stay smooth and worry free.

I got exactly what I wanted from the retreat and can’t recommend it more!

Incredible journey in the heart of Amazon forest
This was my first ayahuasca experience. I did a lot of research before picking Naturalia and I'm so happy with my choice. From start to the end it was exactly what I needed. Everyone in the retreat has a great energy and they are very helpful. You get your own bungalow with an hammack to relax and recover with the melody of the jungle. Everyone makes you feel like at home .
I haven't done much yoga before this retreat, yet it was great addition and much needed before and after the ceremonies. Derya was a great teacher for me who doesn't know much about it.
Throughout the the week I always felt they are doing their best and I'm in good hands. Their guidance makes the journey special. I was entering an uncharted territory and I never felt lost. It felt magical and very comfortable. Paula is very spiritual and she knows a lot.
I'd definitely recommend this place.

Amazing rainforest retreat experience
I can't say enough wonderful things about this place. After months of debating whether or not I was ready to try Ayahuasca I decided to sign up for a week at Naturalia. I am a 22 year old female traveling by myself so safety is a big concern of mine. I can honestly say that I felt safe and comfortable (relatively speaking of course for living in the rainforest that is) the entire time that I was at the retreat center. The chef is amazing, and both the facilitators do a great job and making everyone feel supported inside and outside of the ceremonies. Thank you all for a wonderful first plant medicine experience <3

Incredible experience!
Really grateful to have found this beautiful retreat, as it was a perfect place and opportunity to disconnect with the world and be more attuned with nature surrounded by a group of amazing people (and 5 awesome dogs!)

People. Manu was the facilitator and he was both charismatic and genuine, which added to the experience of this journey. The shaman Manuel was there to help us achieve our personal goals and sang magical Icaros during the ceremonies. The rest of the Naturalia staff was there to assist us in whatever help we needed. Last, but not least, there was the small intimate retreat group of 4 we had (named ourselves the Jungle World Team since everyone was from a different country)...we all clicked from the start and added to the overall experience. Thank you all!

Activities. There were opportunities to do many activities such as: yoga, meditation, nature walks, ceremonies, and group discussions and reflections on our experience which filled up majority of the day. Given limited electricity (electricity shuts off at 7pm and we start using candles) & wifi, which I initially thought was a downside, I ended up really appreciating because it helped with disconnecting with our electronics and focus more on ourselves, the present, and the beautiful people and rainforest around us.

This was a very unique experience. I now come back into the "real world" with a greater sense of appreciation for life and perspective. Thank you Manu, the rest of the Naturalia staff, and the Jungle World Team, my experience here with you guys will always be a treasured memory!

Transformative experience with proper support
So grateful for all the staff and open hearts. We had full support through our journey, and could not asked for a better personal experience. Yoga instructor may change around, but ours was wonderful and calling her mom by the end of it! The staff are always joyful and make you feel like a family right away. If you are taking plant medicine, the integration sessions and talks with the shaman are what set Naturalia a part from others for me. Also, I loved falling asleep to the jungle noises while still having a comfortable living space. You can stay in your bungalow or hang out in the common room with everyone. Everyone in our group loved hammock time while I loved snuggling up with the dogs on a beanbag chair.
