About this Retreat
Your Guides
As the founder of Retreat Experience Unplugged, Cristina blends her two greatest passions: adventure and physical empowerment. A certified Level 3 Personal Trainer and Level 4 Nutrition Coach, she has been coaching since 2018, with specialized expertise in Pre/Post Natal wellness.
Cristina’s approach is deeply informed by her career as a firefighter, where a strong, conditioned body is a professional necessity. This "real-world" strength is what she brings to her Stretch & Breathe and High-Intensity sessions. With a background in tourism and a lifelong love for travel, Cristina meticulously designs every retreat to ensure that movement, culture, and discovery are perfectly balanced for an unforgettable journey.

Mornings are dedicated to your well-being, beginning with "Stretch & Breathe" mobility sessions and artisanal breakfasts. On selected days, we elevate the energy with expert-led Strength & Conditioning sessions designed to empower the body.
Once our movement practice is complete, we dive deep into the heart of Italy. Beyond the villa, your stay is rich with curated adventures: a professional guided tour of Florence, private tastings at world-class wineries, and a hands-on traditional cooking class where you’ll learn the secrets of the Tuscan kitchen. Whether we are taking leisurely walks through ancient olive groves or sharing wine at a hilltop hamlet, this retreat perfectly balances physical vigor with cultural indulgence.

You will stay in the villa’s beautifully restored top-floor apartment. It features original 19th-century Tuscan cotto floors, high ceilings, and custom furnishings with a beautiful antique patina finish. The space includes:

- A spacious living room and fully equipped kitchen
- Two bathrooms (shared among your group)

From Florence Airport the villa is approximately a 35-minute drive (34km). Take the A1/E35 motorway towards Rome/Siena. Follow directions for the “Autopalio” (Firenze-Siena) and exit at San Casciano in Val di Pesa. Follow the local signs for Le Quattro Strade to reach the Villa.
From Pisa Airport the villa is approximately a 1 hour and 10-minute drive (80km). Take the SGC Firenze-Pisa-Livorno (FI-PI-LI) towards Florence. Near Florence, exit toward the A1 motorway or follow signs for Siena/Grosseto (Firenze-Siena). Exit at San Casciano in Val di Pesa and follow the local signs for Le Quattro Strade to reach the Villa.
