About this Retreat
Your Guides
ACSI (Associazione di Cultura Sport e Tempo Libero) certified Masseur, I grew up in the nature, witnessing all sort of traditions about respecting our land; catching the signals; taking care of the fields; preserving all sort of fruit, vegetables and greenery and finding them in the steep and spiny hills of this corner of paradise.
All the stories, the saying and the spells about a fecund harvest; the recipes, the right times with the right people for the best laugh and genuine taste, after a hard but smart work.
This has been my attitude for my whole life: listening, observing with my child eyes with surprise and wonder, making all sensations settle into my veins and being curious about everything: music and arts, photography, engineering, cooking, dancing, sailing, farming, fishing, wellness, meditating the magnificence in people souls, in old people' s hearts and gestures, in cultures. And I've made my best in sharing and filling all the "winkles" I could with my attitude while living in London, in Lisbon, in Nice and in several cities in Italy.
Now it's time to be back at my roots' place, inviting you to absorb the energy, the calm, the beauty of my modest personal heritage in such a rich territory.

"When the body slows down, the mind finally speaks."
For those who have reached their limit and need a place where nothing happens — at its best meaning. The sea, the silence of the Calabrian countryside, massages, a cooking workshop as a meditative moment. No mandatory programme: just a beautiful frame to simply be in.
The programme is a guide, not a contract. Every week is shaped around the guests' rhythm and interests.
Maximum 2 guests per week.

DAY 1 — ARRIVAL
The journey ends here.
Evening Welcome. Silence, a simple table. No agenda to explain. A glass of wine, the sea scent - everything else can wait.
DAYS 2 to 5 — YOUR OWN RHYTHM
Time belongs to you.
Mornings. No alarm clock. Morning swim - A short swim at your own pace. Breakfast at home or at the promenade coffee bar.
Before Lunch. Holistic massage - A session available every day. A moment to bring the body back to the present.
Afternoons. Free time - Beach, reading, a light meal, rest in the garden. No programme. No guilt.
Evenings. Conscious, light, simple and shared dinner at home or at the beach, different every evening.
DAY 4 and DAY 5 optional workshop and/ or hikings
DOUGH AND PIZZA FROM THE WOOD-FIRED OVEN
Cooking as active meditation.
Day 4 at 10:00 am We prepare the long-rise dough: tomorrow evening it goes in the oven.
Day 5 at dinner. Yesterday's dough, tonight's fire. The dough prepared yesterday is ready. We fire the oven, share the table, stay up late.

Mornings at 10:00 am
Wild waterfalls, live as a local in Fiumefreddo Bruzio.

DAY 7 — LAST DAY
The rhythm you found, you take it home.
Departure. No rush - Breakfast together, a jar of jam, the recipe. Slow goodbyes, no ceremony.

Accommodation
A basic single room with a french bed, a wardrobe rack and an antique desk. A double bedroom with a wardrobe, a desk and side desks. These 2 rooms have a shared bathroom and a common area with antiques and paintings. The accommodation provides a kitchen.

The private villa is immersed in the vegetation at a middle height on the sea level, facing the Thyrrenian Sea, watching Stromboli and the other Aeolian Islands on the horizon.
You have free access to a multifunctional area with musical instruments, library, bar and sofa to relax and create. A terrace to share meals and a big garden with trees and plants to hang, observe, fill lungs with clean air.
