About this Retreat
My journey to this 111-acre sanctuary wasn’t a straight path; it was a reclamation. While my academic foundation provided me with the tools to analyze the world, it was the whispers of a life lived for others that eventually led me to the silence of the forest.
From the Source to the Soul
To truly understand the rhythm of peace, I traveled to the birthplace of yoga: Rishikesh, India. Living among spiritual gurus at the foot of the Himalayas, I immersed myself in the Eight Limbs of Yoga.
Beyond the physical asanas, I was initiated into the ancient arts of Pranayama (breathwork), meditation, and the transformative power of Sound Healing. It was there I learned that a guide’s role is not to "fix," but to create a vessel where your own inner wisdom can finally be heard.
A Trauma-Informed Heart
My approach is rooted in a deep, personal understanding of what it means to carry heavy things. My own upbringing taught me early on that safety is not found in the world, but built within the body and mind.
This lived experience has made me a fiercely trauma-informed guide. I recognize the stories we all carry—the shame, the fear, and the inherited weight—and I provide a safe, steady land where those stories can finally be released without judgment.
The Fire of Resilience
Get Calm Lavender Farm was born out of a dream shared with my husband, but it was forged in the fire of unparalleled opposition. At every turn, we have faced walls meant to keep us small. Yet, my lineage is one of people who were forced to bend, but never broke. Where others imposed ceilings, we continue to find the strength to shatter them for the generations that passed, and for the ones that follow.
I'm not here to lead; I'm here to walk beside you and give you the tools you need to follow your own inner wisdom.

The trees do not struggle to let go; they simply stop feeding what no longer serves the whole. Fall at the farm is a masterclass in the beauty of the "Small Death." As the air turns crisp and the Full Harvest Moon rises to its peak, we gather to audit the year’s harvest.
Under the illumination of the most storied moon of the year, we honor the "Elephant Stories"—the heavy things we’ve carried—and we offer them back to the earth. This is a time of strategic descent. You are not "losing" your leaves; you are protecting your roots. Come find the clarity that only arrives when the clutter is cleared by moonlight.
The Signature Moment: The Fire & Ash Ceremony: Writing the burdens of the year and committing them to the flames under the Harvest Moon.
