Winter naturally invites us to slow down, turn our attention inward, and rest in deep quiet. Away from the busyness of daily life, silence becomes a refuge—a supportive space to settle the mind, unwind deep-seated tensions, and drop into profound inner stillness.
Rooted in the authentic traditions of Mandala Yoga Ashram, this 7-day silent retreat offers a structured, holding environment to deepen your practice and reconnect with your true nature. Led by our resident team, the retreat integrates morning movement, devotional chanting, sustained silent sitting, and restorative Yoga Nidra. Daily late-afternoon Tratak (candle-gazing meditation) harnesses the quiet darkness of winter dusk to draw the senses inward and cultivate steady mental focus.
Retreat Highlights:
Winter Focus & Atmosphere: Embrace the quiet stillness of the season with dark winter evenings dedicated to candle-gazing.
Practical Mindful Tools: Learn walking meditation techniques to practice independently during spacious afternoon breaks.
Deep Rest: Daily Yoga Nidra to nourish and restore vital energy.
Karma Yoga: Integrate mindfulness into daily routine through light selfless service in the ashram community.
Step out of external noise and allow the silence of winter to nourish your mind and heart.
