Details of this retreat

From the Amazon to the Andes — a 10-day sacred journey through two of the world's most powerful spiritual landscapes: the Amazon rainforest and the sacred mountains of the Andes.

Begin in the Amazon jungle of Iquitos with a traditional Ayahuasca ceremony held by an experienced Shipibo shaman. Journey on through Cusco, Pisac, and the Sacred Valley for a San Pedro (Huachuma) ceremony, then complete your pilgrimage at Machu Picchu and Humantay Lake. This is not recreational travel. It is a consciously designed pilgrimage for those seeking authenticity, spiritual depth, and ethical facilitation — small groups, seamless logistics, and experienced guides so you can fully surrender into the journey.

2026 RETREAT DATES
Cohort 1: July 20–29, 2026
Cohort 2: August 5–14, 2026

THE TWO MEDICINES
Ayahuasca — a brewed plant medicine combining the Banisteriopsis caapi vine and Psychotria viridis leaves, served by Shipibo maestros in traditional night ceremony. Often described as a deep encounter with ancestral, emotional, and somatic material.
San Pedro (Huachuma) — a cactus medicine of the Andes used in ceremony for over 3,000 years. Served in daylight by Andean lineage holders. Often called the medicine of the heart — a long, gentle opening over the course of a day.
Together, these two medicines hold a complete cosmology: the underworld of the jungle and the upper world of the mountains, the inner journey and the outer pilgrimage.

THE JOURNEY, DAY BY DAY
Day 1 — Arrival in Lima and flight into the Amazon; grounding orientation.
Day 2 — Amazonian Ayahuasca ceremony with experienced facilitators; preparation, ceremony, and supported integration.
Day 3 — Return to Lima and fly to Cusco; rest and acclimatize to altitude.
Day 4 — Horseback riding through sacred Cusco sites: Sacsayhuamán, Qenqo, Pukapukara, and Tambomachay.
Day 5 — Full-day Sacred Valley immersion: Pisac and its market, the Salt Mines of Maras, and the terraces of Moray; overnight in Ollantaytambo.
Day 6 — San Pedro (Huachuma) ceremony in the Sacred Valley, followed by silent integration in nature.
Day 7 — Short Inca Trail to Machu Picchu, entering through the Sun Gate (Inti Punku).
Day 8 — Sunrise guided tour of Machu Picchu and a closing gratitude ritual; return to Cusco.
Day 9 — Rainbow Mountain (Vinicunca), with a gratitude offering to Pachamama.
Day 10 — Humantay Lake water blessing, farewell integration, and intention-setting.

WHO THIS IS FOR
For you if you feel a quiet but persistent call to plant medicine and want indigenous lineage rather than Western reinterpretation, you are willing to prepare (dietary, emotional, somatic), and you understand integration is where the real work happens.
Not for you right now if you are on medications incompatible with Ayahuasca (SSRIs, MAOIs, certain heart medications — we will review with you), seeking a recreational psychedelic experience, have an unmanaged psychotic disorder or recent manic episode, are pregnant or nursing, or unwilling to follow the preparation diet. We turn people away who aren't ready. That is part of what makes us safe.

HOW WE HOLD SAFETY
Medical and medication screening before booking is confirmed. A preparation diet for two weeks before arrival (no alcohol, no recreational drugs, minimal caffeine, no pork, no red meat, no aged cheese, low sugar). Trained sitters present throughout ceremony. Integration support through Sacred Healing, our affiliate sanctuary in Joshua Tree, CA, with ongoing integration calls every Tuesday at 6pm in the months following your return.

CHOOSE YOUR PATH
Sacred Reservation — $1,000 deposit to reserve your place; $2,300 balance due 30 days before the retreat. Total investment $3,300. Standard accommodations.

Sacred Pilgrimage — $3,600 paid in full. Upgraded accommodations where available: private accommodation in Iquitos, upgraded view space in Cusco, and ensuite accommodations in the Sacred Valley.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Several experiences require sign-ups at least one month in advance (including Machu Picchu entry tickets), so the earlier you reserve, the more we can secure your place at every sacred site.
