About this Retreat
Ellen Browning-Lafferty is a business and life coach (NYU 2016), family constellations facilitator, licensed massage therapist, and entrepreneur with over 15 years of experience in the wellness industry.
She offers regular Family Constellations workshops online and in person, as well as 1-1 coaching sessions with individual clients. Her work facilitates personal inquiry and expands our sense of what’s possible by addressing intergenerational trauma and releasing ancestral burdens.
Through her work, Ellen aims to connect clients to greater support, community, and resources. It’s her joy to support others in acknowledging personal truths, embracing life's paradoxes, and bringing the gifts of ancestry forward.
Details of this retreat
We find ourselves in a current political, economic, and sociological climate of “us vs. them,” thinking steeped in division, fear, righteousness, and violence. According to Family Constellations, reconciliation is defined as “bringing together that which has been separated.”
In this workshop we’ll explore the archetypal relationship between victims and perpetrators, and how these roles may live in our family systems. We’ll take a look at what has been separated in our families and in the larger world and explore what can be done to unite the parts.
We may consider how we embody both victim and perpetrator in our own lives, as well as who determines when justice has been served. We’ll explore what can be done to bring together that which has been separated in our families, communities, countries, and within our own selves
