About this Retreat
Gabriel is among the rare few non-indigenous persons to be legally authorized from the Pluricultural Governor of Sonora to enter the territories between Hermosillo and Punta Chueca to collect the Bufo Alvarius medicine directly from the wild toads on the territory and authorized and registered as practitioner to serve the medicine in sessions.
Bio: Growing up in Central America in the 70's, Gabriel has naturally developed a sense of syncretic practice of spiritual energy and philosophy. 15 years ago he initiated his discovery and learning of plant medicines with hierbatero Lucho Panduro and ayahuasquero Alessio Prefumo in Tamshiyacu (Perù) and then Bolivia, Chile and Italy. After an experience living in Cuba, cooperating with Orisha Yoruba priests of African Santeria, Gabriel lived 10 years in South America, where he continued the deepening of his research by dwelling with indigenous communities in remote mountainous regions, participating to rural development projects and to the ritualistic tradition in the Andes, then moving to Mexico to learn the utilization of Bufo Alvarius.
He is interested in the diffusion of diverse instruments for the spirit. His idea is to connect more people to the information, the preparation and basic mindset to approach powerful spiritual tools such as natural plant medicines. His effort is to improve the process, the communication and the experience of the sessions and therapies and render them available to almost everybody. He believes on pulling down the barriers of spiritual elitism. In helping these wonderful "instruments" to face the fascinating modern challenges, as an inside-out revolution. Gabriel aims to contribute for compatibility among and beyond different environments, cultural realities and melting down modern and ancient ideological schisms, the barriers of language and discrimination.
Don Lino — Aymara Yatiri of La Paz
Don Lino is an Aymara spiritual guide from La Paz, Bolivia. In the Andean tradition, he is known as a Yatiri—a healer and reader of coca leaves, recognized as “one who knows.”
His practice includes working with Huachuma and other herbal medicines, always in alignment with Pachamama, the living essence of the Earth. Alongside this, he is a musician of traditional wind instruments and an ethno-cultural guide of the Andes.
He welcomes guests into his world at the Valle de las Ánimas, hosting them at his family ranch set within this striking landscape, an otherworldly valley of canyons and open views toward the high Andes.

ITINERARY
DAY 1 — Flight Santa Cruz / Sucre + City Visit
Flight Santa Cruz – Sucre.
Arrival, private transfer to hotel and first exploration of the “White City”:
colonial center, main plazas and panoramic viewpoints.
Overnight: Sucre Hotel VILLA ANTIGUA
DAY 2 — Roadtrip Sucre → Potosí → Uyuni
Morning departure with private transport.
Visit of Potosí historical center and Casa de la Moneda.
Continuation to Uyuni with stop at the Train Cemetery.
Overnight: Uyuni salt hotel CRISTALES DE SAL
DAY 3 — Salar de Uyuni (start of 4x4 expedition)
Uyuni Salt Flat — Conscious Experience
Within the vast expanse of the Salar de Uyuni—the largest salt crystal surface on Earth—this experience is designed to enjoy the natural conditions of silence, immensity and altitude to create a moment of deep presence.
The absence of visual references, combined with the mineral ground and the immensity of the landscape, naturally induces a state of introspection and clarity.

Visit Salar de Uyuni, hike the Isla Incahuasi (giant cactus island) and Tunupa Volcano area with the mummy caves and highpoint view on the salt flat.

DAY 4 — Route of Jewels
Crossing high-altitude landscapes:
Salar de Chiguana, Ollagüe Volcano viewpoint, Siloli Desert.
RUTA DE JOYAS (Route of Jewels), five remote multi-color lagoons in the heart of the highlands (14.000 ft):
Laguna Cañapa, Laguna Hedionda, Laguna Chiarkota, Laguna Honda, Laguna Ramaditas
Overnight: Huayllajara (Aymara community lodge, private rooms with bathroom)
DAY 5 — South Lípez Full Experience
Laguna Colorada (blood red laggon with thousands of pink flamingos), Sol de Mañana geysers, Polques hot springs,
Dalí Desert, Laguna Verde and Laguna Blanca. We reach near to the frontier with Chile.
Return north to Villamar.
Overnight: Villamar (Quechua community hostal, private rooms with bathroom)
DAY 6 — Valle de Rocas + Flight to La Paz
Panoramic route: Anaconda Canyon, Valle de Rocas, San Cristóbal.
Arrival in Uyuni and evening flight to La Paz
Private transfer to hotel.
Overnight: La Paz HOTEL PATIO DE PIEDRA
DAY 7 — Lake Titicaca & Isla del Sol
Early morning private journey to Copacabana.
Boat navigation to Isla del Sol and scenic hike to the lodge.

Return toward La Paz.
