Details of this retreat

Step into a day of clarity, connection, and joy in one of the most magical forests in Europe.

This is a full-day guided hike through the ancient forests of Sintra combining nature immersion, the ceremonial use of microdosing, breathwork, shamanism, and meditation. You will explore fairy-tale palaces, medieval fortresses, and lush forest trails while gently opening to yourself and the people around you.

This is not a party. It is a day of slowing down, walking in nature, and giving yourself space to feel what is actually alive in you.

What to expect
We begin with a grounding ceremony and intention setting. You will take a microdose before we walk. The hike moves through stunning forest trails, ancient ruins, and breathtaking viewpoints. There will be moments of silence, moments of conversation, breathwork, and moments of simply being present with the beauty around you.

By the end of the day, we close with an integration circle where we reflect, share, and explore how to carry what you have experienced into your daily life.

What people experience
- Peace and calm: stress falls away in a safe, supportive setting.
- Clarity: many have called this a day of profound self-discovery and confidence.
- Connection: with nature, with yourself, and with a community of incredible people.
- Wonder: the landscapes of Sintra are unlike anywhere else in Europe.

Who this is for
This hike is for you if you are looking for a reset. If you have been in your head too much. If you want to reconnect with your body, with nature, and with a sense of wonder that daily life tends to bury.

No previous experience with microdosing is required. First-timers are welcome and well supported.

Who this is not for
This is not suitable if you are currently on SSRIs or lithium, are pregnant, or have a history of psychosis or schizophrenia. If you are unsure, get in touch and we can discuss.

What to bring
- Warm layers (temperature fluctuates greatly in Sintra)
- Rain jacket
- Scarf, blanket, or towel to wrap around yourself
- Eye mask or similar to cover your eyes
- Comfortable shoes or boots
- Backpack
- Water bottle (aim for 1 litre)
- Lunch and plenty of snacks and fruit
- Pen and journal
- An open heart and an open mind

The Sintra-Cascais Natural Park is a UNESCO World Heritage landscape of ancient forests, fairy-tale palaces, and medieval fortresses perched above the Atlantic Ocean. The trail moves through dense, moss-covered woodland, past hidden temples and royal ruins, opening into panoramic viewpoints where the forest meets the sea. Sintra has been a place of pilgrimage, mystery, and spiritual significance for centuries. There is nowhere else quite like it in Europe.
