With a deep passion for helping others reconnect with their highest potential, Krista dedicates herself to guiding transformative experiences through sacred plant medicines. With over 20 years of experience as an educator and leader, she brings a grounded understanding of human nature and the power of connection and integration.
Her journey as a medicine woman began with a deep calling to explore ancestral traditions and share their wisdom. This led her to the Amazon jungle, where she dieted with plants and deepened her relationship with the natural world. The experience profoundly shifted her path and ignited a deeper devotion to this work.
Krista also had the honor of learning from the grandson of renowned curandera María Sabina in Oaxaca, gaining insight into the ceremonial use of sacred mushrooms and the importance of honoring Indigenous knowledge.
With a focus on love, presence, and integration, Krista creates a safe and sacred space for individuals to explore their inner world and reconnect with their true essence. Guided by intuition, she helps others navigate these experiences with care, allowing them to feel supported, seen, and held throughout their journey.
Dr. Liberty Eberly is a visionary leader in the field of psychiatry with a focus on holistic care, the intersection of spirituality and mental health, and the incorporation of psychedelics and plant medicines in healing, recovery, and personal growth. As a board-certified psychiatrist practicing since 2009, she also recently became a certified psychedelic-assisted therapist, with an emphasis on psilocybin, MDMA and ketamine.
Dr. Eberly attended her first ayahuasca retreat at Mexisoul in 2023, returning for retreats with friends and family several times since, drawn to the safety, small-group intimacy, and loving support of the staff at Mexisoul. She also recently completed a very disciplined, 3-week master plant dieta in the Amazon jungle of Peru, working with a Shipibo shaman to both deepen her own experience with ayahuasca and to build a relationship with the sacred Amazonian Noya Rao tree.
During your Mexisoul retreat, Dr. Eberly, in the role of integration coach, will lead group discussions on integration and will be available for 1:1 sessions to support your unique, personal journey and exploration. She often uses an IFS-informed (Internal Family Systems) approach to help individuals tap into their own internal wisdom and will empower you with skills to take home post-retreat, ensuring your time at Mexisoul will be transformative and unforgettable.

Another great experience!
My experience at MexiSoul is always amazing! It’s not just a retreat…it’s a second home.
As I stated, this wasn’t my first time attending, and that alone says a lot. Each time I come back, I uncover something deeper. The environment is intentional, the energy is grounded, and the people who hold the space truly care about your process.
The ceremonies were powerful, but what stood out just as much was the integration. Being able to process everything with support, especially with people like Liberty, Humberto, Krista, Alma, Gabby, and the team, made the experience feel complete, not just intense.
There’s also something to be said about the joy. The music, the dancing, the food, the connections…it’s not all heavy work. There’s real life happening here. Real laughter. Real moments of peace.
What I appreciate most is that nothing is forced. You’re given space to go as deep as you’re ready to go. And somehow, that space allows you to go further than you thought you would.
I’ve been to MexiSoul multiple times now, and each experience has met me exactly where I was in life. That’s rare.
If you’re considering it, just know this…it’s not about escaping your life. It’s about understanding it… and coming back with more clarity, more peace, and more of yourself.

An Incredible Week of Reflection and Human Connection
Attending the MexiSoul retreat from May 2–8 was an incredibly meaningful and transformative experience. From the moment I arrived, I felt safe, supported, and genuinely cared for.
Transportation from the Guadalajara airport to the retreat was simple, well organized, and felt very safe, which immediately helped ease any anxiety about traveling solo.
Before ceremonies even began, the team provided a thorough explanation of the retreat schedule, preparation process, and the range of experiences participants might encounter. That level of communication helped reduce uncertainty, allowed me to set meaningful intentions, and created a strong sense of trust in the process.
The facilitators, servers, and medical professionals were exceptional throughout the entire week. Their experience, compassion, attentiveness, and calm presence created an environment where people could fully surrender to the work knowing they were supported every step of the way.
One of the most powerful aspects of the retreat was the sense of community. The sharing circles following ceremonies created a safe and supportive environment where participants could openly share experiences, emotions, and insights. Hearing the perspectives of others added layers of understanding and reflection far beyond what solo introspection or traditional therapy can often provide.
The retreat also offered an incredible blend of music, ceremony, healthy food, human connection, and moments of joy and laughter. Everything felt intentionally designed to support deep reflection, healing, personal growth, and reconnection with yourself and others.
I left with a tremendous amount of gratitude for the entire MexiSoul team and for everyone who shared the experience alongside me.

If you are looking for a safe, high-quality, transformational, life-changing & profoundly healing medicine journey experience, MexiSoul is the place for you.
I met Krista at the first retreat I went to at MexiSoul (which is everything they claim and so much more- I would recommend watch testimonial videos on their website-there are hundreds-you can really get a feel for what the experience there, is like). From our first interaction, I knew I was in the presence of someone who had done her own work and was able to create and hold space for me and my healing. While I am careful not to pedestal people, she isn't someone who I would be inclined to do that to. Because she is so real. She is a woman who completely embodies authenticity and therefor offers a clear mirror for others to do the hard work of seeing their own authentic selves. After my time with Krista at my first retreat (she was supporting, but not leading that retreat) I knew I wanted to come back and experience a retreat that she was leading, with her medicine of choice, psilocybin. I'm glad I followed through on that promise to myself. What I personally appreciate about Krista, is that she doesn't offer a lot "noise" or excessive input during the ceremonies, she gets out of the way and instead, creates a container that is big enough, clear enough, and safe enough that allows for YOUR journey to emerge, unfold, and that allows for whatever is meant for you. To me, she is a magician of sorts, an alchemist who embodies, creates and offers a potent and powerful journey space. I trust her completely, and most importantly, in her presence, I trust myself. Her life story is one that lends to being a person that many can relate to and and draw inspiration from. If you have an opportunity to sit in ceremony with Krista, you should do it, as it is a great honor and privilege to do so.

If you are looking for a safe, high-quality, transformational, life-changing & profoundly healing medicine journey experience, MexiSoul is the place for you.
I rarely write reviews, but it feels like a must for MexiSoul, because I know how hard it can be to choose a space/place to do this important, but vulnerable and brave work. It can be hard to trust what you read online, what you see, etc. I think reviews are part of how you can get a better sense of a place and the experience it is offering. So, I'm going to share for those reasons. I completed my second retreat (psilocybin with Krista) in February. My first retreat there was an Ayahuasca retreat last March. Prior to my experiences at MexiSoul, I had fear and significant reservations about doing medicine in general, but also in a group/with others, and also in a foreign country with strangers I'd never met. My so glad I took the leap, because both the retreats were truly life changing. They were profoundly healing and transformational and it turns out that doing medicine with others, is just as powerful as the medicine itself. MexiSoul and ALL of their staff are incredible. They create and offer and extremely safe, loving, warm, professional, beautiful and supportive environment, in which to do this hard, vulnerable and yet powerful and beautiful work. It would be hard to speak to all of what you will experience at MexiSoul and all that they offer- the actual medicine journeys being just one part of all that they provide for and offer each guest. The finca itself is a very special place, the food is healthy, treaty and delicious and prepared with intention; the live music and the magical musicians themselves; all the servers (the people who show up as pure love to help support you through the medicine ceremonies). In addition, there are many different types of ceremonies and practices/workshops that are offered in addition the the medicine ceremonies, that complement and elevate the already profound experience. They also offer professional preparation and integration of the medicine journeys during and after the retreat. MexiSoul checks ALL of the boxes, and then some. Plus, from my research, it is much more affordable than comparative experiences, and offer more for what they charge. I've sent friends and family and everyone has had a similar experience to what I've shared here. On their website, they have hundreds of video testimonials, I would suggest checking them out, because you start to get the picture that this place, IS what they say they are. Last thing I'll say, is that I've appreciated the wide variety of humans who shop up at these retreats as participants, they are not who I would have guessed, not your "usual suspects" doing more new age healing work. There is a wide variety of ages, ethnicities, cultural backgrounds, belief systems, nationalities, genders, etc.
I have a gained a great deal from sharing this experience with people who I perceived were very different from me. It was quite valuable. If you are looking to have a transformational and healing medicine experience...you've found the place.

An awesome heart-opening experience
Everyone at the retreat was awesome, including the participants and specially the staff. You could feel the care and support they give out to us, when we were struggling or whatever we needed, they would help us out, made us feel safe and supported. The space is surrounded by nature and animals, the food is healthy and tasty, and the massages Gaby gives are the best I've ever gotten! Would totally go back, a learning exlkefience.
