2025 Du Dok, End-of-Year Purification Ritual

As the year draws to a close and the days turn inward, we invite you to Serenity Ridge for a special time of reflection and renewal. Esteemed Bön master Drubdra Khenpo Tsultrim Tenzin Rinpoche will offer teachings and guide us in the ancient Dü Dok purification ritual—a powerful practice for releasing the fears, worries, grief, and lingering attachments of the past year.
The Dü Dok is a short yet profound chanted ritual that clears the causes of misfortune and restores harmony to the five divine energies within each of us: Tsog (life force), Lu (health), Wangtang (livelihood), Lungta (social wellbeing), and Lha (soul). Through this sacred practice, we can dissolve obstacles, dispel negative influences, and invite balance, vitality, and good fortune for ourselves, our loved ones, and all beings.
Guided by Rinpoche’s wisdom, we open space within—releasing what no longer serves us and welcoming the new year with clarity, lightness, and openness to fresh possibilities. Join us for this meaningful ritual of cleansing and renewal as we step into the year ahead—unburdened and refreshed.

9:30–11:00 a.m.: Teaching in gompa
11:30–12:30 p.m.: Du dok ritual on front lawn
