Details of this retreat

Peace—your inner peace—is the heart of this fall yoga retreat. Yoga is the perfect practice, and now is the perfect season, to nurture and strengthen your inner peace.
Through mindful yoga practices that move the body and calm the mind, you will release tension, overcome negative thoughts, and reduce anxiety, leaving you feeling healthier, calmer, and lighter.
With a focus on emotional well-being, these sessions also support healing of old wounds and help ease sadness or depression, allowing your heart’s light to grow stronger and brighter.
This welcoming retreat is open to all levels of experience. While prior yoga practice may be helpful, it is not required. Sally Barber of the Westfield Yoga Center offers compassionate guidance with skillful modifications tailored to each participant’s needs, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.
The retreat balances time for connection with others and opportunities for quiet reflection and solitude. Set in the peaceful and nurturing surroundings of the Genesis Center, your inner light will be gently supported and expanded.
Join us this fall to renew your spirit, deepen your practice, and expand your light in community and calm.

Excellent program. Brother Dom’s presentation was timely, clearly articulated, and inspiring. I have attended previous programs by him, and he never disappoints.
I have one suggestion for Genesis. There was some confusion about the agenda, in terms of times of the sessions as well as when the actual sessions began and ended. It would be helpful if an agenda could be sent out the day before the program begins. As commuters, it was a bit challenging to make sure we knew exactly when we needed to be there and for how long.
That said, as always, the staff was welcoming, helpful and friendly.

This workshop had outstanding researched material. The presenter was very knowlegable.

I was overwhelmed by so much input with no processing time permitted. I wished the presenter could present his points in everyday language.

The topic was very relevant and well presented. There were opportunities for questions and comments. It provided thoughtful information to bring home to continue to digest, absorb and live from.
