Join Us for Connection and Healing

Our upcoming Postpartum Support Group is a safe and welcoming space specifically designed for women navigating the postpartum period and their little ones (ages 0-18 months) to attend. The transition to motherhood can feel overwhelming, and there is no need for women to navigate this experience alone. Join us with your child for connection, healing, and support.

This group is here to offer a judgment-free environment where you can share, connect, and gain support from other mothers who are also navigating postpartum. Whether you are struggling with emotional challenges, seeking advice, or simply looking to connect with others, this group aims to provide that support.

What to expect:
• A safe, confidential, nonjudgmental and supportive atmosphere
• Conversations on topics such as mental health, parenting, challenges
• Tips and resources to manage postpartum challenges

Healing practices to support self care and well-being

• A chance to build meaningful connections with other women who understand what you’re going through

Information and connection to community supports and resources (e.g. mental health, spiritual healing, postpartum support)
Fun practices and activities to support bonding with your little one

The group will be facilitated by Katelynn Carpenter, MSW, LCSW,  and Teila Dupuis Miller, and is open to all moms with children ages 0-18 months. Little ones are welcome to attend but not required. Pre-registration is preferred but drop-ins are also welcome.

By His Cross and Resurrection
I really needed the quiet and silence during these Holy Days to enter more deeply into my relationship with my God. I so appreciated Joe’s poems, short talks, and especially the Ecological Stations of the Cross. Other times are for participant sharing, but not so much during this Holy time.
Grateful for everything, including Jen’s delicious meals! 👍😋

6 day silent guided retreat April
I had a very much needed quiet time. Genesis is always the place. My "guru" was exceptional. After just one session, I felt like we've known each other for years. The simplicity of the scheduled sessions with her were so beneficial. Along with the food and the accomodations, I left truly invigorated.
As an AA, I was also able to attend mtg while there ...downstairs!
I'm referring my friends to Genesis.

Verses of the Soul: A Virtual Poetry Journey
This was a new experience for me. I signed up for this program because I love and also write poetry. The selections that JoAnn chose were varied and thought-provoking. Although we were a small group, the sharing was very meaningful. Hopefully this kind of program will be offered again.

Poetry
I loved the hour midday to refresh and get quiet with several beautifully selected poems. My schedule prevented me from attending all three sessions, and as can happen in small groups, one or two participants shared at length, but the leader offered rich, varied creative work for us to contemplate.

Lenten Supper Series
The Lenten Supper series is a meaningful and affordable way to unplug from the busyness and stressors of life for a few hours of intentional time to recenter and refresh during the season of Lent.
