About this Retreat
Katelynn Carpenter, MSW, LCSW, RMT has a passion for bringing women together in safe, trauma-informed spaces to facilitate community, connection, and healing. Katelynn is a community-based mental health clinician who has experience working with survivors of adversity and trauma. She has a strong passion for working with children and families, and most recently as a first-time mother herself has discovered a passion for supporting mothers through postpartum. Katelynn has worked in many roles including community mental health, outpatient therapy, child welfare, and crisis. She is formally trained in Reiki, energy healing, and somatic based therapies. Spirituality has always been a grounding force in her life. Her experiences through postpartum have inspired her to hold space within this group offering for other mothers in search of community and healing.
Teila Dupuis, M.A., LMHC is a licensed therapist, postpartum mom, and passionate advocate for children and families. She holds certifications in Trauma-Focused CBT from UMass Chan Medical School and a Post-Master’s Certificate in Child and Family Therapy from NYU. While she specializes in child and adolescent mental health, Teila has experience working with many different populations and diagnoses. She has worked with behavioral disorders, substance use disorders, PTSD, psychotic disorders, and more. As a mother to three young children—one with Autism and another with Dyspraxia and Sensory Processing Disorder—Teila brings both professional expertise and lived experience to her work. She aims to create a compassionate, nonjudgmental safe holding space where moms can process postpartum challenges, feel truly seen, and build confidence. Teila specializes in using the therapeutic relationship to help clients rewrite their trauma narratives, challenge painful core beliefs, and reconnect with their strength and self-worth.

Join Us for Connection and Healing
Our upcoming Postpartum Support Group is a safe and welcoming space specifically designed for women navigating the postpartum period and their little ones (ages 0-18 months) to attend. The transition to motherhood can feel overwhelming, and there is no need for women to navigate this experience alone. Join us with your child for connection, healing, and support.
This group is here to offer a judgment-free environment where you can share, connect, and gain support from other mothers who are also navigating postpartum. Whether you are struggling with emotional challenges, seeking advice, or simply looking to connect with others, this group aims to provide that support.
What to expect:
• A safe, confidential, nonjudgmental and supportive atmosphere
• Conversations on topics such as mental health, parenting, challenges
• Tips and resources to manage postpartum challenges
Healing practices to support self care and well-being
• A chance to build meaningful connections with other women who understand what you’re going through
Information and connection to community supports and resources (e.g. mental health, spiritual healing, postpartum support)
Fun practices and activities to support bonding with your little one
The group will be facilitated by Katelynn Carpenter, MSW, LCSW, and Teila Dupuis Miller, and is open to all moms with children ages 0-18 months. Little ones are welcome to attend but not required. Pre-registration is preferred but drop-ins are also welcome.
