What if the very practices you’ve dismissed as too intense or outdated could actually unlock the peace you’ve been searching for—not just for yourself, but for a world in desperate need of healing? Pulling on themes from Eric's upcoming book, "Finding Peace Here and Now: How Ignatian Spirituality Leads Us to Healing and Wholeness," this virtual evening program will offer participants key practices from the Ignatian tradition to cultivate a disposition of peace in their personal and interpersonal lives. We will look to the Spiritual Exercises—often dismissed as too violent in imagery to be useful for peace—to discover new ways of manifesting peace in our world. The program will include a reflection, time for small group discussion and a large group report out, plus a Q&A. Through these practices, we will uncover how the Ignatian tradition not only challenges us to confront the turbulence within but also equips us to become catalysts of peace in a world yearning for healing.
