About this Retreat
Pinky More was born in India. Here she has completed her Yoga education at The Yoga Institute in Mumbai, the Oldest Organized Yoga Center in the World. After a few years of working and traveling over the world she has settled down in the Netherlands to introduce Indian Classic Yoga, the traditional style of Yoga. In Kerala, India, Pinky has studied Ayurveda and started giving ayurvedic massages.
Since 2012 Pinky organizes Yoga retreats at Centre Lothlorien in France. In 2019 she started the affiliation between Centre Lothlorien and ‘The Yoga Institute’. Currently, besides leading her own Teacher Training Courses in France she teaches in several other European countries and participates to Yoga programs in Ghana, Dubai and India.
Richard Slager is raised in the Netherlands. After years of working in the Hotel and Tourism Industry in different countries he sets a bridge between India and the western world.
Since the establishment of Centre Lothlorien in France in 2002, Richard has helped with the organisation of the centre has been organizing activities to familiarize young people with playing and living in nature.
Richard has studied Ayurvedic herbs and medicins in Kerala. Now in he puts this in practice by teaching the basis of Ayurveda and the practical use of local herbs in France.
Richard has completed the Yoga Teacher Training Course at The Yoga Institute in Mumbai and has continued learning about the Indian Philosophy, including Patanjali Yoga Sutra's, Samkhya, Vedanta and Ayurveda. Currently he is teacher at the Indian Classic Yoga Teacher Training Courses in France and The Netherlands.

Go back to basics in nature at a beautiful estate in the French countryside. Enjoy 2 weeks of Yoga, mindful walks, meditation and asana practice.
At Centre Lothlorien, yoga is "a way of life". This 14-day retreat helps you in finding peace and balance, so you can cope better with the stimuli and distractions of everyday life.
Each week has its own theme. The activities are every monday to friday. Start with seize the day Asana's. The first week you find yourself on meditative walks in a woodland setting in an area where you can still walk for hours without seeing a soul. The second week you will get help from an experienced Indian Yoga Teacher Trainer to work on your Asana practice. Find out which asana is good for you and which asana is not. Get personal advice on how to perform an asana depending on your capabilities and limitations.
Stay in a quiet campsite or wooden log cabin in nature. Participate to the activities in the morning and have the afternoons free for yourself. Facilities are there to prepare your own meals. It is possible to book breakfast, lunch or dinner at the centre.
